Oops sorry about that noob mistake.

Don't feel bad, Jedi, I'm not a newbie and I'm the one who posted first. Sorry, Mia. I didn't realize what you were doing. Didn't mean to mess it up for you - I was just excited, that's all.
-
I know but I have played enough of these games to know better.
-
OK, we can be partners in crime... or posting... or whatever.

I can live with that

I'm curious as to whether anybody has been able to produce bred versions of the original brown or grey bunnies (These two: and ). I haven't been able to breed either, and I've been trying since the beginning. All of my bred bunnies have grown up as the other four varieties. Has anyone raised or seen a bred version of either of these?
-
Nope, all of mine from the last 3 years are parentless
-
Well, my "problem" lies the other way around. It was my first Easter, so I planted lots of festive eggs to get all the bunnies. And since the Wiki didn't mention any of them being "breed only" I tried with parentless eggs. Result:
2x
4x
5x
4x
And one pending that will grow up tomorrow. So - is it just abysmal luck on my part, or are these two , "breed only" ? -
Yes, they are bred-only.
Sorry I haven't done any works on specials plants yet. So far I've just managed to add some more information to regular plants.
-
Ardath, mine are all parentless bunnies too. Plenty of little bunnies running around though.

Shelybear:
Thank you. And no need to feel sorry, I'm glad you are doing such a project at all ! -
My recommendation - since there ARE bred-only variants - hold onto all of your current bunnies, even your "extras". That way you'll have more to breed for next year. Keep in mind that just because a seed has been bred, it does not guarantee that you'll get one of the bred-only variants.
Since I only want one more of the pink tulip variant, next year I'll probably be dropping a lot of bred seeds into the garden. Many of us do that on these holidays, especially when we have all the bred-only variants that we're interested in. That gives some newbies a chance to get some, even before they have grown any of their own seeds from the wild.

Ardath: Mine are all parentless as well.

ahh! (after having returned from too long a hiatus!)
I returned yesterday and.. I saw several eggs around the site even though it's long after easter! -
I also saw an egg earlier when I came to check my plants. I was surprised.
-
That is so cool that you guys were able to see the eggs too! If I knew for a fact that I would I think it would be neat to come later on and find them. Were you able to collect them all? And did you get a package from the Postal Pixie?
-
I had already collected them all long ago and got all the packages. That is why I was so surprised to see the egg!
-
Oh, wow, that's not what I thought had happened at all! I thought you weren't here for Easter and now since you've returned, the Easter eggs were still showing up. But that's really unusual - I would love to see some in my garden!
-
The Easter Bunny is just playing pranks.
