There's also the fact that, while not "officially" seasonal plants, the seeds for poinsettias, christmas roses, and christmas cacti seem to only drop during the season... so for newer players (like me) who didn't have those plants already, taking the time to grab those as well cuts into the slots that can be used on stars/trees.

Christmas trees are still breedable, both with other Christmas trees, as well as poinsettias - I've just bred both and dropped seeds into the garden, since I had no free pots.

That's why adding this as a mechanism is a bad idea. It won't affect those of us who have been around a while, but it will certainly affect newer players.

I think I may have gotten a new Firework, but I can't see the image:
Can't see it in other users greenhouse either, it's just an empty space.
Now when I post it here it appears as a "broken image" symbol.

I've got the same problem, additionally, while there is no question mark in my compendium, there is also no new picture.

I was just about to go post in the Help section about this issue, myself. You can identify my invisible Fireworks because it is currently in my signature in this forum.

Hey, So I think all of that missing images should be fixed now. I have no idea what caused it as everything was correctly configured. Please keep me posted if you encounter a similar issue again.

Yeah, it seems the problem has returned. My first new firework shows as it should but the second does not:

I have several of the new ones, it appears, and every one of them is invisible. I also have no question mark in my compendium, but no image of the new one.
Something is definitely broken.
