I think I remember a discussion quite a while ago that if you keep asking to remove some clouds, it is supposed to intensify the amount of sunlight your plants get, maybe making them grow faster.
But I could be wrong.... -

The new pumpkin is definitely not bred-only, this one has just grown and was taken from the wild:
I think what that is, is a new pumpkin to breed the Jack-o-lanterns to.

Hi,
My suggestion is that the time period for the Halloween plants starts earlier and lasts maybe two weeks or so. This could allow people to try to get some plants that are harder to get, or breed the rarer ones. -

Yes, look in the wiki and it will answer many of your questions.
If you want to know what to look for, look for the link for "Regular Plants ", it will show you what the seed looks like, the variations of the adult plant.
Under the "Special Plants " link, it shows the various varieties of specal plants that have a limited time for finding new seeds, or breeding seeds. Some of the varieties are only available by breeding. Some are Holiday plants. It took me years to get most of the varieties, and some I am still looking for. -

Yes, you are correct, I was mixing up the two flowers. It is the Winter Daphne that I can no longer breed. I hope that the ones that I have bred will grow into the breed only alt.

I bred the one in my signature on Feb 1 (it still hasn't grown up because I keep forgetting to water it). I just went to try to breed more, and none have the 'breed' command available.
So we have a sort of end-breeding date. -
