Wow, this is my first Christmas here, and there are already so many things to do. Anyway, thank you for the iinformation!
Christmas flowers reminders for everyone

I have a problem with the Christmas drop minigame (and I had it before it turned into the Christmas version, too). Since the limit was increased to 200, the game has lost its fluency, the falling snowflakes etc. and the basket move jerkily, in steps. I don't think this is a problem with my computer, it's quite new and has the most recent FF installed. And before the limit was increased, I'd had no problems at all.
-
Alia, I have the same problem, even with the non-Christmas version. That's why I don't play this minigame at all. I do like the new Christmas design, though.
-
That's strange, I don't have that problem with either version. I've had that problem in the past, though; I wonder if you might need to update Flash or something? I always have the updated version of Flash because of a particular site I use, but if you're using an older version, maybe it has a problem.
-
The game isn't using Flash, so updating it won't help (even though you should still do that, old Flash versions make your PC vulnerable to malicious attacks!). It simply looks like I will have to optimize that game a little bit, as it can require a bit too much CPU power for older PCs.

The Christmas version drop is really nice xD
I can remember last year I was here during Christmas and failed to figure out what Christmas market was for... Hope I can understand it this year since I now now what's Christmas market (in RL).
-
I probably have the new Flash version, it updates automatically.
-
I just played it and didn't have any problem with the game. I have had problems with it in the past though and for some reason it is just not one of the games I play now. I do like walkinslow and play other games.

Just wanted to pop in and add a reminder to folks to get some regular white clover for breeding the lucky clover. Its breeding season is very short, and you don't want to be caught out without regular clover to breed it with.
I, too, have the jerky problem with the snowball drop game, both versions. I have a Windows 8.1 computer with 6GB of RAM, but I don't have the fastest internet connection in the world. Perhaps it's more of a loading problem than a CPU rendering speed problem. -
You may be right because I have - well, I'm not sure what it is any more, but it's not Windows 8, I know that. But I do have fast Internet.

*crossing my fingers that Christmas Star breeding will start soon*
-
I'm not sure if the ingame news actually worked, but breeding has stared now. There will be a new variant by the time they grow up!
-
Ingame news worked for me
-
Me too.
-
Same here, thank you!
-
Thank you! Can't wait to see the new variant!
-
Thanks for heads up! Btw the ingame news works.
-
Ingame news worked for me also, btw my computer is very very, very antique !
-
Oh, I always thought Lucky Clovers are for St. Patrick's Day!
-
Clovers and pigs are for German New Year's. They are both good luck charms. That's why one of the clovers has a pig on it. We in the US say, "you lucky dog", while German-speakers say "Schwein gehabt" (meaning literally "got a pig", but figuratively "you lucky pig" or "you lucked out there"). The New Year's pig is called "Glucksschwein" and is often given as a marzipan favor (often with a marzipan clover on it). Mushrooms are also lucky. I wish I knew more about German New Year's. My German great-grandfather (my mother and I called him Opa) passed away when I was in primary school, so I was too young to remember a lot of it. Perhaps some of the German regulars here on the forum could tell you more (or correct some of my deficiencies).
