New flowers / Neue Pflanzen

  • I'm not sure what all has been suggested but I would sincerely love to see things like fruit trees and things like grape vines and ivy.
I also agree with the other suggestions too... Love how the mushrooms/shrooms turn out. :)
    And also, I know I'm very new here, but I'm hoping there are a lot more places to plant things in the works. No offense or whining meant, but my little patches of earth are getting a weensy bit crowded. ^^;
Anyway, thank you for a marvelous game. I'm truly loving it here. All I'm missing is the real scent of all the lovely greens around me.

  • Sonnenblumen wäre mal was passendes und was neues,am besten in drei Farben wie orange rot und halt gelb wie man sie kennt.
Auch wenn die erst im Sommer richtig blühen wären sonnenblumen nicht schlecht als vorschlag. ^^

Sunflowers will be a good idea

  • I hope there could be also the possibility that new variants for some flowers appears, would be good for some only one variant having ones.

For example the lavendel in a blue or more purple colour
    or a new colour for <<oranges habichtskraut<<
a yellow or magenta <<klatschmohn<< i do not know the english names

  • more "nytteplanter" (using plants)

    like pisum https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erbsen_(Gattung)
    Daucus carota https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karotte
    Solanum tuberosum https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kartoffel
many of these have beautiful flowers.

and why not grass such as
    Zea mays https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mais
    Avena sativa https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saat-Hafer
    Secale https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roggen
    Hordeum spp.https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gerste_(Gattung)
    Triticum https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weizen https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emmer_(Getreide) https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dinkel
    Oryza https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reis

perhaps not so many pretty flowers, but it's still interesting and I'd love to have a "crop field" type planting area some time in the far future :D

    oh! Thank you Yogamupfel 37396.png

  • Was the Aloe Vera already suggested? I´d love that one, I have one myself on my windowsill. :)

And as we got the Siberian pepper this month I´d like some more spice and herb plants. Basil, Thyme, Borage and Rosemary have all nice little blooms too. :)

  • Some of these have been mentioned before, but I'd like to post my ideas anyway. :)

    - sunflowers (maybe connected to a special summer event)
    - palm trees (especially for the wintergarden :-), maybe also connected to an event)
    - waterlilies (for the pond) - love, love, love them!
    - some creepers/climbers like ivy, wisteria, sweet pea...
    - thistles (no, really, I think they're very pretty!)
    - orchids (they come in many varieties => interesting breeding options)
    - hydrangeas and magnolias (very decorative!)
    - some more common flowering plants like delphinium, gladiolus, peony, hollyhock, foxglove, lupin, violet...

Flowergame is really awesome, many thanks to the creators!
    ----------------------------------------------

    - Orchideen (gibt's in vielen Varianten => interessante Zuchtmoeglichkeiten)

  • I know we already have quite a number of variants, but I think a white tulip would be nice. ^^

White flowers are always a bit tricky, same as black ones. Difficult to do any shading which would be visible on cheap monitors and they also tend to blend with the background on most websites.

  • i don't know if this was ever suggested before, but i'd like a whole bunch of vegetable plants, like tomatoes, various salats, various cabbages, ect. and of course herbs...perhaps coming along with an simple patch of earth as a new location where we can put the seeds in rows as i do in my real life garden... :)

Oh yes, this, very much this! :D
Some of these plants also have very pretty blossoms (just think of the potato that was first brought here as a decorative flower before people found out they are edible too) so maybe instead of different colours the variations could be blossoming plant/fruit bearing plant?

On forum hiatus due to new job (but I'm still playing), may still be found on Dragon Cave forum.

  • Thanks, Exterminans. I thought as much... :| But whenever I look at my tulip patch, it seems to cry out for a touch of white (especially vis-à-vis the snowdrops and spring snowflakes ;) ).

Re vegetables: Yes, this has been suggested before (when I was new here, I worked my way through this entire thread :) ). It's a great idea, especially adding more herbs, but I think this would look better in a new location, like a kitchen garden.
