New Marvel ferns have arrived and there is a question mark in my Compendium. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to breed one (only regular ferns) but there are a lot of them in the Wild Garden.

Oh, nice! For those who are new, there are two variants - one with a pink flower and one with a yellow flower:
that can only be obtained by breeding. You breed Marvels with Male Ferns, not with other Marvels, so you will need at least one of those.

I'm I the only one or has someone else bad luck breeding Marvels? All I seem to get are normal ferns.

I am saddened to say that I am also unable to breed a Marvel. Has the breeding window closed? Is there a problem?

No, I just found a parentless seed in the wild garden. But I have breed many in my garden and, also, only gotten male ferns. Guess we just can't breed the two varieties this year

They may have just forgotten to turn that functionality on. I know it's not automatic, so it might have just been forgotten.

I just went to my greenhouse, and bred a Marvel fern to a Male fern. It was successful, but since I did not have an open pot, it was dumped into the wild garden. And yes it was a Marvel fern.

Seven more trials, only normal male ferns.
BTW, has anyone managed to get one of these marvel ferns from the wild this year?
Because if they are bred-only and we are unable to breed, that's no fun.
