@blobber That's definitely new! It's great that we've been getting a bunch of "edibles" lately!

It's a bit close to Halloween, though. I've been trying to leave all my pots empty for whenever the event starts :/

That's what I thought, but I suppose we have time (just). :)

As a matter of fact, previous-year Jack-of-Lanterns are breedable now.

Cool, I love mint, but this will have to wait until my current plants have grown. If there had been a news message, I wouldn't have filled my pots...

I hadn't checked - I didn't see any in the wild so didn't realize they were. I guess I'll breed a few for me and let the rest drop into the wild for newbies in the game. :)

And for those who ARE new, I think at least one of the older jacks might be breed-only, although I'm not 100% certain about that.

Wow Really? We have a new plant at this time? That's double Halloween surprise.
But I wonder why we don't have a notification as usual... The last news was posted on June...

:) Well, it seems that a new variant of the carved pumpkins is here. I spy a "?" in my Compendium.

If there are new pumpkins, are they breed-only? I don't see any drop in the garden. But maybe it's too soon. :)

On forum hiatus due to new job (but I'm still playing), may still be found on Dragon Cave forum.

Usually the new breed isn't breed-only, at least for the first year. Afterwards it can be.

At least, I *think* that's the way it works, unless it's just because with some events you get a seed through a quest. I don't remember if they give us a quest on Halloween.

I haven´t seen any pumpkin seeds in the Wild Garden yet. I hope there are parentless ones this year.....
Do you think we'll get a new Audrey and/or tree stump too?

I don't have a question mark for either of those, but that doesn't mean much; sometimes one or the other of those will be made later.

So hard to say, but fun to look forward to. :)

I guess now we can only breed our jack-o-lanterns, the seeds will appear in the garden closer to Halloween.

If someone wants (bred) seeds now, they can follow links from some of my jacks to their latest child. Four were taken by one person, so I suspect she got them that way, but there are still a couple floating around. I haven't seen them in the wild garden, so you might be only able to get them if you go to the direct link.

Yes, that would be ideal. I, too, am having to wait until my seeds mature.

I have a question mark beside my Snappy Tree stump, but that may be because I am missing one. I was hoping it was for a new one though! :D Maybe we'll get a new Audrey later.

Nor do I, just the Jack-o'lantern. Wish I'd taken 4 of them now and left the Audrey.

Well, I don't mean to complain, but why are there no longer news messages via the News section on the FG garden pages? It has always been a special thrill to see the News headline change from green to red.

I was wondering the same thing too. The lack of updates is really unnerving. Plus, I thought we'll have some sort of story for Halloween like in the old times but it's like the site is quiet and the Treasure Hunt is still there.

I guess the Treasure Hunt will be there all the time so newbies can make it up whenever they join without needing to wait for a year?
