  • I'm happy you liked it. ;)

    Act IV, Scene I
    A cavern. In the middle, a boiling cauldron.

    Thunder. First Apparition: an armed Head (Or maybe it's a broom ? A cauldron ? A mushroom ? Who can tell these days...)

    Code
    [url=http://flowergame.net/view/193016][img]http://img.flowergame.net/193016.png[/img][/url]

    Thunder. Second Apparition: A bloody Child (Really ? Could've sworn it was a broom again, or that cauldron-mushroom-thing...)

    Code

    Thunder. Third Apparition: a Child crowned, with a tree in his hand (That's an awful lot of thunder. My head hurts. Maybe that's why these things all look alike, somehow...)

  • Umm... No, not at all. I said pretty conclusive, but I didn't say absolutely conclusive because we would probably have needed more of a sampling. But sufficiently conclusive, and probably statistically significant. (Although without doing the math - which I don't recall anymore - I couldn't say for certain.)

  • Added. Thank you!

    @Mia Uhm yeah. Good to know that xD It's always the more sampling, the more accurate for statistics. So I'm going to increase the amount of specimen for future experiments.

  • Actually, I think 50 is sufficient. It's pretty overwhelming the fact that not one was one of the other two variants. I just don't remember the math to figure it out. (Although I could ask my Dad - he's a statistician.)

    But sometimes more isn't better. When my father was in biology, before he became a statistician, he worked for a researcher. They did a set of 100 experiments, of which every single one turned out a particular way. The researcher told them to do it again, with 100 more. When they did it for the next hundred, all of those turned out exactly the same way. The researcher told them to do 100 more. My father got angry, because even then he knew statistics, and knew that was unreasonable. If even ONE had turned out a different way, he could see doing more experiments, but the results were too overwhelming.

    So, I think 50 is enough, really. Maybe do more, IF you have time after getting all the experiments done that you want. And that way others will stay interested and help you. :)
