    Morgen ist es soweit, der erste Mai ist da. Und wir präsentieren euch zwei neue Pflanzen.
    Ab Mitternacht können im wilden Garten die Samen des Bärlauchs gefunden werden. Gar sonderliche Samen hat der Hexenhutpilz, der für eine Woche zu finden sein wird.

    Tomorrow is the day, the first of May is here. And we present two new plants.
    From midnight on the seeds of wild garlic can be foundin the wild garden. The which muchroom have exceedingly special seeds. It will be awailable for one week.

    Hört sich toll an. Hoffentlich werden heute drei meiner 4 pflanzen größer :thumbup:

    Witch Mushroom, and just as Mother's Day approaches this month? Should we be reading something into this? Or is there a story behind this particular plant?

    Hexe-Pilz, und ebenso der Muttertag nähert sich in diesem Monat? Sollten wir etwas darin lesen? Oder gibt es eine Geschichte hinter diesem besonderen Werk?

    Yes, all countries do not have mother's day (well at least not on the same day of the year), but I just couldn't figure out what holiday would merit a unique flower. However, now that I stuck my neck out there, I got the answer for myself as well as others. Plus we get to have a discussion about it and learn something new that we didn't know before.
    Sorry for playing the fool sometimes, I will ask the stupid question even if I know the answer. It makes it so no one else has to.

    Ja, alle Länder haben Muttertag (gut mindestens nicht an demselben Tag des Jahres) nicht, aber ich konnte nicht gerade ausrechnen, welcher Urlaub eine einzigartige Blume verdienen würde. Jedoch, jetzt wo ich meinen Hals dort durchstach, bekam ich die Antwort für mich selbst sowie andere. Plus kommen wir, um eine Diskussion darüber zu haben und etwas Neues zu lernen, das wir vorher nicht wussten.

    Thank you Alia for the links. I am now more educated as to where the American "May Day" has more likely originated from. As a child May 1st or May Day was simply a day where we placed flowers on peoples door steps. It is not a major recognised holiday by most of the Americans I know. And never had any real significance to any of us growing up. Now I am a little more educated in world culture. (Who says we don't learn anything from Internet games.) I thank everyone for their patience and understanding as I break out of my American egg shell and learn more about other cultures and the people who are a part of them.

    Danke Alia für die Verbindungen. Ich werde jetzt betreffs dessen mehr erzogen, wo der amerikanische'Erste Mai' wahrscheinlicher daraus entstanden ist. Als ein Kind May war der 1. oder Erste Mai einfach ein Tag, wohin wir Blumen auf Völker-Tür-Schritten legten. Es ist nicht ein anerkannter Haupturlaub durch die meisten Amerikaner, die ich kenne. Und hatte nie jede echte Bedeutung zu einigen von uns das Aufwachsen. Jetzt bin ich ein wenig mehr in der Weltkultur erzogen. (Wer sagt, dass wir nichts von Internetspielen lernen.) bedanke ich mich bei jedem für ihre Geduld und verstehend, wie ich aus meinem amerikanischen Ei breche, schälen und lernen mehr über andere Kulturen und die Leute, die ein Teil von ihnen sind.

    I come from a former communist country, so for me 1 May is mostly International Workers' Day.
    Ich stamme aus einem ehemaligen kommunistischen Land, deshalb ist fur mich 1. Mai meistens Arbeitstag.

    Actually, 9th May is victory day in Russia - for Western European countries it's 8th May. And those two days are also "Time of Remembrance and Reconciliation for Those Who Lost Their Lives during the Second World War."
    Eigentlich, ist 9. Mai Tag des Sieges im Russland - in Westeuropa es ist 8. Mai.

    Finally registered with the forum (I'm always reading) to ask a possibly dumb question, but I wanted to confirm: the garlic seeds are a permanent addition right? It is the witch seeds that only last a week? Just wanted to make sure so I do not miss out on any plants :) Thanks!
