So recently I've completed my regular plants compendium so now I dont know what to do when I need only special plants. The Valentine plants are also completed, St Patricks also, there are left only few Christmas, Easter and Halloween plants. So basicaly I should wait those events so I could hunt new plants.
What now?

Yep, that's how it works! You wait until those few that you need start dropping or, maybe, something new is added. Some of us breed seeds for the garden but that's about it!

I occasionally just grow more of the plants that I like the best, to be able to use them to decorate the other gardens that I have.

I am in the same boat as StarBoy. I still log in pretty much every day, play some games to keep the sunlight strong, and check the online users -- I click their growing plants so they can get a little sun and water (sometimes I even get to bend some branches or water some plants.)
It looks like today I'll be checking in more than once. I am also on the lookout for the eggies🐰

Flowergame's Easter will Start April 4th. I might need to look into how to have a moving holiday be reflected better in the game in the future.
