I believe last year the Texas Bluebells started in late September, so yeah that quite a bit earlier than I recalled. Perhaps something like "The Texas Bluebell has been seen in the garden starting as early as late August" or along those lines. Or even a bit more vague, perhaps - "late summer to early fall." I also have one bred as late as January when I was looking. Didn't realize they hung around that long.

Oh absolutely! I wouldn't actually want it in game, just for the wiki.

Could there be a "Seasonal" section added that lists plants available only for a month or two during the year?

I know we have the Special plants area, but I think it would be helpful to have the seasonal ones separated from the main section - ones like the Marvel Ferns, Christmas Cactus, Texas Bluebell, Winter Daphne and I'm sure there are others - and have the approximate time they start showing up in the Wild Garden?

I hope this isn't too much work, and that others think it might be helpful too

I actually have all of the variations, I'm just trying to get more of the breed only ones. Most of those I only have 1 or 2 of, sadly. They're being very stubborn!

Looks like it, I checked to see if mine were able to breed and they are not.

Frustration with Marvel Fern breeding is running high today. 6 of 6 resulted in normal ferns. That doesn't seem like "high chance" to me. Maybe in 8 days I'll have better luck.

Oh good lord, I can't even trash or abandon the 6th one so I'm stuck with a fern I don't need or want. Maybe someone else can make use of it. I'll post in the adoption thread. I thought it was 3 trash and 3 abandons per week but guess not.

I totally get that, and I'm so glad to hear you've got a good support system now! It definitely makes life more pleasant. If you ever do pick up Xanje, feel free to hit me up. I don't play anywhere near as much, but I try to keep up somewhat lol!! My big games are this and DragCave though.

I can't even imagine how frightening those storms were! We had the tail end of a hurricane hit us when we were living in way deep south TX, down near Brownsville but that was just a Cat 1. I've lived in TX most of my adult life, but hurricanes are a whole different beast from big thunderstorms. They're the number 1 reason we didn't move to FL and came back to TX when we came back from Mexico.

Thank you for the kind words, I love my parents and am happy to be here for them but it can be challenging at times. Luckily I do have both of my sisters living close by and am able to take occasional breaks on weekends and evenings.

Oh shoot, I bred Marvel Ferns before coming here. I'll have to remember to get a couple Chanterelles next time. Thanks for the heads up, can't wait to see what they look like!

So good to see you back online! I had wondered what happened when I didn't see you on Xanje for a while! So sorry to hear about the troubles with the hurricanes. I can't imagine how hard that was to go through. I'm a bit less active on Xanje, but ifyou would like anything bred, just PM me there, I'm always happy to help out where I can - I did miss everything from like November '25 to May or so of this year. I'm full time caregiver for both parents who are nearing 90 and they've had pretty significant health problems so I had to step back from games for a while. But for anything except that gap, LMK and if I can breed whatever.

Oh gosh, I wasn't expecting them to have been out so early! Very sad I'll miss a round of them most likely.

However, I'm gonna have to wait until after Easter - I just bred some and then once those sprout (hopefully before Easter so I don't have to abandon them!) I'm going to be full on into trying to get some of the eggs I'm missing. D:
