Why is there a ? next to it in the Wiki? As far can see there is no other version of it besides the Halloween version (s). is confused.

from what I see is there is a new pumpkin version, I also breed a pumpkin and jack-o-lantern and it is a pumpkin seed, so I'm guessing there is a new pumpkin

i meant the pumpkins not the Jack O lanterns . I guess I missed that new thread on the new pumpkin will see if I can breed some of them.

That doesn't necessarily mean that the new variant is bred-only, although it could be. Unless it's the Halloween event, breeding a pumpkin with a jack always results in a pumpkin. -

I picked up a seed from the wild garden that was bred by Alia almost a year(!) ago, and it turned into the new variant.

Exterminans long ago told long ago that the variant of the plant isn't determined until after it sprouts.
For that reason, some of the abandoned gardens that we've helped along have occasionally gotten variants that hadn't been released when the owner of the abandoned garden originally picked those seeds, which is always a bit intriguing.

I just realized I misworded my previous statement. I should have said, the variant isn't determined UNTIL it sprouts. When you pick them, the variant isn't determined yet. That's why many long-abandoned gardens have occasionally gotten newer variants, when the rest of us have helped those seeds along.
