I'v added them. Thanks so much walkinslow! Sorry for the late.

Are we going to do Jack-o-Lanterns during the Halloween event? We probably should - it's never been completely confirmed which variant(s) are bred-only.
But we shouldn't use already-owned Jacks, because sometimes you can get a variant the first year, and later it will become bred-only.
-
Yes we are, thanks for suggesting But I will start a new thread for Jack-o-Lanterns as I didn't reserve enough space in this one. I can link it back to here as what I did to Flaming Katy and Marvel Fern when we confirm the result. Please remind me when it's getting close or just start one if I didn't response in time

Shelybear, you are a very organized person! And you must have a little time on your hands to do all this! It doesn't seem like I have the time I used to.

It's been added, Jedi, thank you!
@truelinor No worries I'll find myself some time so we can have it done as expected! But it seems I'll be rather busy around Halloween - and everyone here is. I'm going to volunteer in one event nearby where they aim to break the Guinness Record!

Oh, do tell! That sounds very interesting! How did you hear about it?

Oh it's been half a year... Sorry.
I'm quite obsessive and think I just do need to finish the experiments as planned. As we have already done many experiments so far, there are only 2 regular plants left to be tested - Fuchsia and Rose.So let's start again with Fuchsia!
The rules are the same, and this time I will again take at least 75 samples (the more the merrier, of course). (It even took me some time to try to remember how it works and how many samples would I need...)
Existing ones are acceptable as usual, but I would really appreciate the newly picked ones. Please provide BBCodes, it saves time for me.
And again, join the party when you feel like -

Here are the parentless ones I already have. I doubt I'll be getting any more in the immediate future unless I want to do some lineages, but you can use these for data. If I do gather more, I'll be sure to post them in here.

All added. Thanks!

Jedi, it's the parentless ones she wants, not the bred ones. This is a thread to see which variants are parentless, and which ones aren't. The only way to determine that is to look only at the parentless variants. If certain variants never show up in the parentless, then we know for certain that they are bred-only.
The other experiment, the one with bred seeds, was being done by LadyNova, and it was just to see if there were higher percentages of certain variants than others when breeding various plants.
You probably have a lot more parentless plants than bred ones that you can post here.
-
I have to toss in that sometimes things have changed here how the parentless vs. breeding results are. And we never knew when it had changed! So in my eyes the breeding experiments can only be a hint but not the absolute truth, which could be enough for most of us to the effect of breeding.
