Tru - Yes, unfortunately, it has always been a one day only event. If the flower isn't taken on the 14th, you don't get credit for it. Usually that's not a problem, as people are willing to take a lot as well as give them, but I guess this year people were afraid to take too many.

Yes, it is normal. You could get one in 2015 when they were introduced, and one during the Valentine's event this year. (If you managed to gift away a flower to someone.) -
