Ha, I get frustrated with nebs, there's no way I'd even consider trying gems. I'd wind up pulling all my hair out. I have to admire anyone with the patience to try a gemshard lineage!
Tru, come join us on the darkside, mwuhahaha....

Thanks, Walkinslow, but I was talking about caveborns. I'm gonna keep your offer in mind though - I want to make a Gem checker once I figure out with what.
See your PM.
I keep getting female red gemshards and I need a male. Would anyone like to trade?
Nevermind, decided to keep them and freeze.
I had a shimmer who misgendered, and had no idea what to do with her, so I used her just now to create this.
I'm happy with it. Kind of cool to have a shimmer unfail tree, and if I breed them together again, I may actually get a shimmer result. I think that would be very cool.
That's clever, Mia. I've never thought of making arrows this way. I should steal that idea for my misgendered Tinsel.
Edit: I did try that and ended up with two Tinsels. Anyone want them? I'll donate them on the DC forums otherwise.

I would LOVE one (since I love arrowheads), but I have to wait a few hours for some of my hatchlings to grow up. And even then I could only take one.
Could I have the gold, please? It comes from both Apollo and Agy! That's a nice lineage!
Sure, it's been reserved for you.
May I please have the silver?
I have three CB gemshard ER eggs that I don't need. Please help yourselves.
Claim my eggs/hatchlings!

wow - lol all gone
Gone again, without anyone posting to say thank you.
Look what I saw on the AP (and no, I didn't catch it): http://dragcave.net/lineage/t5kWT
Yes, which is why if I post one here, I ask for an AP egg in exchange, just so I can make sure it IS someone from FG, and not just a lurker. Anyone can lurk, whether or not they actually register. That sort of thing bothers me.
It's nice for someone to thank someone, if they take an egg of theirs. LN can find out who by looking at children of her own (presuming it was bred from her dragons), but it doesn't seem very polite to just take without saying anything.
That is a NEAT lineage! I've debated breeding two arrowheads (if I get two that are the same gen, and unrelated) just to see what it would look like. I never thought a lineage like that would look that nice. But that one is pretty!
The person who took it has a hidden scroll, so I don't know who it was that took it. I think this is the first time my egg has gone like that on FG. Before, i've always got a "I took it, thank you" message on here, which is why I dare use transfer links here. Maybe I should start doing what I did with the Tinsels - post the lineages and then PM the transfers to those who ask for them.
That is a really nice lineage. I might try it myself if I ever get an arrowhead prize.
Mia, do you think you can match this from your own stock? I bred it for a trade that fell through, so I've no problem giving it to you for breeding experiments.
I think so, if not now, then I could get them in one generation of each. (I have fifth gen shimmers but not sixth, which is what would be needed to breed a mate to match this.) Yes, I do believe I could come up with a mate for that one.
I noticed that both ultimate grandparents have custom codes, yet neither is named by their custom code. Strange, since you are allowed to select a custom code when you win a prize dragon.
I took the green copper, thank You. Usually say thank you immediately after taking an egg but I was busy, sorry.
Mia, I'll send the transfer link then. As for the code thing, well we can't know how others think. Maybe they just wanted to own the codes, but didn't think they'd make good names. Or maybe they did intend to use those as names, but changed their minds. We'll probably never know.
Corvino, that's okay, it happens. It's good to know it didn't get stolen though.
If anyone likes to hunt the AP I bred around 200 pairs that should start hitting the AP sometime after midnight dc time. Didn't get that many eggs of course, but quite a few prizes and arrows and bsa's and hybrids and other things that I thought people might like.
I saw a Terrae-Pygmy wall a couple of hours ago, that looked kind of cool.
