Once the seeds are adult, the parents can be bred again. So 8 days, give or take. If you bred your parents right at the very beginning of the event, you might have a few hours' window in which to breed them a second time on the last day of the event, since all events are turned "on" and "off" by staff, not automatically.

Only healthy, mature plants you own can be used for breeding. Even then breeding is only possible if the plant hasn't produced any seeds for the last 7 days.

Well this season has been a perfect fail for me. Bred the first time hours before the event started - and just bred again - and produced a valentines seed - but forgot I didn't have a pot open...

Do you have Firefox? It might be the same in other browsers, Go to the wild garden, hover over a seed and it's in your status bar.

oh a take code, this is like http://flowergame.net/flowers/take/[number of your flower goes here] for whatever flower you have, this will work if it is in the wild garden.
I got back a dandelion that I accidentally bred while no empty pot this way!
