Wow, you´re so fast in translating, lorimmel, I feel ashamed of being so slow.
Deutsches Flowergame Wiki

Nothing to be ashamed of I just had a little more time last week
"Regular Flowers" done, now working on "Special Flowers". -
Merci, lorimmel. Now the 2 flower names are right. - Look at, in the en-wiki all flowers have English names. If you see there an German name, it is written wrong.
Special Flowers: St.Pattys Treasure is inserted now with German text. (I think, the end-date we will write it, if we know it from the news.)
-
"Special flowers" are ready, including Pattys Treasure Thank you Aztekior for fixing images. And for fast update on the new special flower
I will start translating "FAQ" now. There are many mini-sections inside, so we can also divide the translation. I'll be checking back, if anyone wants to translate any question, just say it here -
Hello, I have a problem with translating one word in this sentence:
"Zur Vorbeugung konnte man Pflanzen eingraben, wodurch sie automatisch mit genügend Wasser versorgt wurden."
I used the word "embed" for "eingraben", but I can change it any moment if it's not the right one.
I didn't play flowergame at that time so I have no idea what word you guys used in English. Any help please? -
Hi lorimmel, my QuichDic shows:
to earth up a plant
to dig
to graveEach one is a little different.
"embed"? - I think, it's not so absolutely with the shovel.
the English speaker shell say, what is the best word. -
Hmmm... I wonder what word was actually used in the game. In the English version. Because there must have been some name for that. I checked in the forum archives but haven't found anything.
-
As far as I remember, it was phrased as "planted in the garden".
-
Aww thank you That helps a lot
-
Yep, "to plant a flower" is the correct term. "eingraben" is not quite the proper word in German either, it´s more colloquial. "einpflanzen" would be more correct/ standard German. Maybe we should rewrite that in the German version too.
Still not finished yet with translating the Trading-section. Aztekior´s expressional writing-style is sometimes difficult to translate.
Maybe someone can help me with that last paragraph, please?

So...does anyone need me to edit anything? I've sort of waited so you could translate the pages, since I certainly can't do that. But it seems like you are doing a great job and I'm wondering if there is a need for an English-speaking native to go over it?
-
Jau, "einpflanzen", das ist es. (Ich gehe automatisch davon aus, dass Pflanzen zumindest in Töpfe gepflanzt sind. Wenn man nun eine Topfpflanze in die Erde einbringt, dann heißt das "eingraben". Also hatte ich das Wort nicht korrigiert. - Die alte Regelung kannte ich gar nicht mehr.)
Aber gut. Der de-Wiki ist nun korrigiert.
----------------------------------------------------------
Jau, "einpflanzen", it is this. (I automatically assume as fact, that plants are planted at least in pots. If one introduces now a potted plant into the earth, it tells to "dig". Thus I had not corrected the word. - I did not know the old regulation at all.)
But well. The de-Wiki is corrected now.

I must say it's very, very hard to translate. Maybe something along these lines:
However, the spirit of friendship and mutual trust are very important for the Flowergame community. All the players do their best to keep the game as it is now: informal, without unnecessary rules, and based on mutual honesty. Ultimately, the flowers are nothing more than a way to spread joy.
I'd love someone to read this paragraph and tell me if I understood the German version correctly. And if it's phrased correctly in English. Please feel free to make any necessary corrections.

Tru I think it would be very good for the Wiki if you edited it. We should be ready with all translations very soon, maybe even today or tomorrow. When one is not a native speaker, sometimes the most obvious and natural ways to say things just don't come to mindTranslating "Help" now.

Sounds good to me, lorimmel. Thank you for your help.
Here is the whole text:
Gifting
Seeds, sprouts and adult flowers can be gifted to other users. When gifting seeds the receiver needs to have a free seed-slot. You can find the gift-link on the detailed flower-page. At every update/refresh of the page a new code is provided, which is afterwards valid for 24 hours. If the receiver of the gift is not able to accept the flower within that time a new code has to be sent.
Gifting a flower is quite easy. To deliver the code to the receiver you can sent it either by PM on any forum, post it on a forum thread or even sent it by email. Albeit plants were not meant as trading goods in Flowergame in the first place a trading-section was set up on the Flowergame-forumAdoption
Adoption is one option of gifting. Basically it is assumed that a gifted flower is not regifted or even traded by the receiver. The Flower adoption center-thread on the Flowergame-forum was created especially for this purpose. Other threads opened up by the users have similar opjectivesTrading
In the Trading-section of the Flowergame-forum various trading-requests are posted. Trading is a mutual gifting-agreement. There is no guarantee for a correct transaction. However, the spirit of friendship and mutual trust are very important for the Flowergame community. All the players do their best to keep the game as it is now: informal, without unnecessary rules, and based on mutual honesty. Ultimately, the flowers are nothing more than a way to spread joy.Underlined texts are links, green parts are additions by me.
EDIT: Inserted the text on the English wiki.

"Help" is done All articles in the Wiki are in English now
Aztekior, I noticed that the link "Forum" in the article "Help" leads to the old Wikia, but I didn't know what to do with it. I edited the remaining links, so now they lead to the English playground, English manual etc.
@Tru, the wiki is all yours for the final touch -
Yes lorimmel, it was a old wrong link, I never checked out. It's fixed now, also in the de-Wiki.

OK! I'll read it over ASAP! It's late tonight, but maybe I can get an earlier start tomorrow.

I didn't have time until this week-end, but now I have just finished editing the English home page, Settings, and Wild Garden. I am going to keep tabs here so I know where to go when I return.
Edited:
- Home
- Settings
- Wild Garden
- My Garden
- The Atrium
- Winter Garden
- The Compendium
- Raising Your Plants
- Development Stages
- Caring for Plants
- Light & Water
- Minigames
- Breeding
- Gifting plants
- Abandon and trash
- Events
-
Yay thank you Tru for doing it for us
I have also thought about something else. Right now the links to both Wikis are hidden deep in the thread. And the topic says "Deutsches Wiki", so some new people won't look inside. I don't think the first post can be edited because Kuuki doesn't come here any more. Maybe we should start another topic and ask the mods to pin it up in the help section? -
How about banners for signatures for both the German and English wiki?
Unfortunately I don´t know how to make some. -
