It's a slice of dark rye bread with butter and chieves.
Rye bread is more common in Middle Europe than white wheat bread ... it's tastier... and healthier... and more substantial.Oh yes, the one downside to our holiday in England was the bread. Toast is fine for breakfast, but how a nation can survive without any "real" bread will stay a mystery to me.
Just kidding. But when you come from Germany it really is a bit bizarre to discover that there isn't even something remotely similar to what you are used to be the standard in any supermarket or bakery.
That said - that could be butter on that slice of bread, but here in Germany it could also be "Quark". A dairy product that seems almost equally rare in Britain and the US as dark rye bread. (At least I did gather that much when trying to find the correct translation at Leo.org.) But it tastes even better with chives than butter does.I really adore the chives bread, and I hope I can manage to breed me one soon. (And I'll definitely have a few in my evening meal.)

@Magolia:
Yes, it is normal. You could get one in 2015 when they were introduced, and one during the Valentine's event this year. (If you managed to gift away a flower to someone.) -
Well, if this isn't spooky.
There was a draught of some types of seeds in the wild garden, with the crocus among them. It was mentioned in another thread and the seeds returned. The first one I picked up grew up today:
It was the 23rd try to get one.I guess there was a curse after all, but the vow to quest on against all odds broke it.

I have had the same problem with Crocuses for about a week now. I only ever happen upon the same three bulbs, and those are bred ones.
(And I didn't look out for them as intensely, just as a second goal, but has anyone seen any parentless Grape hyacinth seed lately ?)
Edit: And right after posting this I went to the wild garden and found... a crocus. And then a grape hyacinth. After so many long tries of nothing. So maybe the code got fixed. (Or ranting really has magic powers, like someone said in my crocus thread.

Thank you for solving the mystery, Bluheart.
So it is just a matter of luck and persistence. Very well, then, persist I shall !
And I have the same goal regarding my compendium - getting at least one of each plants by myself. The best of luck to the both of us, then ! -
Greetings, fellow gardeners !
Spring is in full bloom in this part of the world, and back when it sent its first tiny messengers I started the project of adding all kinds of Crocuses to my garden. As parentless plants, so I could breed them later.
About two or three months later now, 22 beautiful Croscus plants are flowering in my garden. They are white and orange and all kinds of violet. But where are the yellow ones ? Is it coincidence, sheer bad luck, an evil curse some dark witch threw on my enchanted garden - or is the yellow variant simply only obtainable by breeding ?
Does anyone own one or more parentless yellow crocuses ? Or is it time for another raising experiment to bring the wiki up to date ?Chevalier de Lis

You know... "Trust the force" and all that... -
It looks like there won't be any more parentless HoVs in the wild garden this year, so perhaps we should conclude this experiment.
Some numbers:
x25
x23
x20
x22
x1 (Jedi)
x1 (Jedi)
We already know that Jedi didn't have the two singular variants as parentless plants before she got hers this year. Mimmu and myself, we did already have one parentless of each before we started collecting seeds this year (and didn't get more, despite Mimmu collecting 16 parentless seeds, and me 13).
So it might still be a valid theory that you only get one parentless for each of those per garden. How about all the other experimenters - did you already have one (or more ??) parentless plants of these two variants ?

MiaSkywalker:
Allright, I bred as many as I had Bleeding Hearts to partner them with (amounting to seven) and sent the offspring to the Wild Garden.Jedi:
About the two unique plants: Jedi, did you have parentless versions of these two plants in your garden before these two ?Perhaps it's a "one parentless plant per garden" variety. (So once you have one parentless of that variant you don't get another.) Either that, or it was a glitch, or this is a freak accident of statistics. (Which can happen, it's just, well, statistically improbable.

Jedi:
These two:(While there are several plants of each other type among the ones that grew up already there is only one of each of these.)
I got parentless versions of both last year, though. But they made themselves scarce for me then as well. (At least as far as I can tell with 12 Valentine plants in total that year.) -
Technically we are done already - there is at least one of any kind of this flower among the ones that have grown up so far.
But a broader base of samples (almost) never hurt any scientific experiment. -

I got the post pixie as soon as one of my seeds sprouted and I had an open pot. (Maybe that's the reason it took a while, maybe someone switched the post pixie on between someone taking my gifted flower and today.
)
@Mia:
I took the Christmas candle you offered. Thank you very much, and I hope that called in your post pixie. -

Thank you, Mia.
It seems the Valentine's day will be all about lovely flowery couples, then, where one and one adds up to three.(In worldly terms: breeding.)
Edit: I wrote the above, went to my garden, watered the flowers and took a stroll amongs the wild flowers. Now guess what I found there...
The parentless Valentine's seeds have arrived !

A flowery Valentine's time to all fellow gardeners !
Are there any parentless Valentine's seeds in the garden at all ? I went through lots of seeds at quite some different times, but all I found were bred ones.
