Just a purebred Terrae lineage. I want to beat DragonNightHowler's record someday.

Good luck What's the current record for it?
-
It's 10 generations right now. The Records says 9, but they are both outdated and dead.
-
That's a lot of dragons. I tried to count how many you'd need for 9th generation but since my math isn't the best it didn't work xD
-
For 9 gen it would be 512 CB dragons, I think... or 1024
I have currently 1266 CB Terraes. -
Wow, just wow Good luck for your project

Yes, the Nexus does seem to be fairly uncommon. I wouldn't call it a Rare at this point, but it is uncommon. Fortunately, the others are really easy to get, and I love the Candelabra dragons, so I snag those eggs whenever I see one.
Looks like they've already stopped dropping the new eggs. That's odd. He starts them late at night, and then stops before the day is half done. That didn't give most people a chance to get them.
Edit: I'm wrong, they're still dropping! It's just that he's now mixing in other eggs, but these are dropping a lot still! Everyone should get their chance.
-
I've seen Candelabras a lot
It's normal for new eggs to mix with others very early but what I've seen is they do drop quite a lot in next few days I'm hoping that these do the same.

If you ever want any second gens from anyone here (so you don't have to keep getting CBs), I'm sure we'd all be happy to breed some for you. -

Thank you everyone.
I actually have two lineage projects. One is with CB Terraes that are all on my scroll. (Because they are picky about that when it comes to records, not all your own work and so on...).Another lineage is with 2nd gen purebred Terraes I all got from the AP. That one is already at 8th gen. So please check before if I already got one of your pairs in it to prevent inbreeding (they are also picky about that when it comes to records, no inbreeding allowed).
But of course I gladly take any CB Terrae or other nice lineaged Terrae (I don't have an offspring/sibling yet on my scroll) you breed and don't need or find on the AP.
-
I can understand the pickiness of inbreeding - the prejudice against inbred dragons aside, it would feel too much like taking shortcuts so you don't have to do all the preliminary work.
So, we'd only be able to help you out with the AP lineage, because the original parents wouldn't be from your scroll. I don't think it would be a problem making sure our dragons aren't in your lineage. Probably the best way to do it is to post the lineages of your latest dragon(s) that you're doing at some point (maybe post them, then keep the post updated as you go further out), and then we could check before breeding ours for you.
I don't think it would be a problem for most of us, anyway. I for one never drop eggs into the AP unless it's a holiday egg (ETA: On purpose, at least. I have accidentally dropped eggs when I've bred without realizing I was scroll-locked), so any eggs from any of my CBs, you would be unlikely to have any non-holiday offspring from.
Edit: Annnnnd... I just noticed that you HAD posted your latest dragon. I think I'm blind.
-
Basicly you just have to check your breeding pair's offspring for any dragon with "Laeglass" in it's name. Those are all Terraes on my scroll already.
More info on what I need can be found on my DC forum profile.
I'm also doing lineages like these with 2nd gens I find on the AP.Although currently I'm bussy with getting the new dragons anyway...

Just to let everyone here know, all the dragons are now in Encyclopedia Hooktalons, Misfits, Bolts, Storm-riders ect. Bolt dragon has two entries, one before stun and one after stun, here's a link to DC's Encyclopedia post about it https://forums.dragcave.net/index.php?show…dpost&p=9261726 There is also a few dragons there that have used stun and are now on cooldown
-
You should also check for the new sprites for Zombies aka Undead Dragons.
There is a unique sprite for Dragon (Western), Dragon (Eastern), Dragon (Wyvern), Pygmy Dragon, Dragon (Sea Serpent),... and more!

A friend just told me there is a new egg release!!!
-
Indeed. Five Olympic dragons.
Blue: This tiny cobalt egg has a crystalline sheen.
Orange: This shiny egg gives off an almost magical aura.
Black: This egg shines coldly in the moonlight.
Green: This glossy green egg is rather warm.
Red: It’s almost like time is distorted around this egg.
Seems like most of them could be found in all biomes. Not confirmed yet. -
With this many, I really hope that they're common, so we'll get a chance to have at least a pair of each of them. I've caught a few, but of course, I would like a couple of each type.

New release!!!
-
I can't wait to see what they grow into! The diamond eggs are the most intriguing to me, but I'm hoping they'll both be pretty. I've liked all of the dragons from the last few releases.
