You're welcome. You must have it hidden, because I can't see the lineage anymore. I just wanted to compare it with yours to see how similar they were, but they do look like they would be good mates. Hopefully it will gender right for you!

They come from the same ancestor, but their lines are different. I don't mind this kind of inbreeding, and they really make a great pair!
I will unfog it after hatching, and you can have their first egg, if you like (provided influence doesn't fail!). -
Sure, that would be cool, so I can see both lineages. I'm not really good at figuring out a good mate (or making one) for anything other than a stair or even. I guess it's a lack of patience to work it out.
On another note, has ANYONE here gotten a yellow from the newest release? I have the feeling as one person said, that the yellows are breed-only alts, but if someone has a caveborn yellow, we will be able to eliminate that as a possibility.
-
I also usually hunt CBs because I'm still building a collection, and I'm definitely no breeding expert. But sometimes, when I see a pretty combo, I just can't resist, and Tsunami x most other breeds qualifies as pretty in my eyes.
All my Undines have hatched green, no one seems to have got a yellow one so far. I only hope they are not as rare as the other breed-only alts...
-
Managed to summon my third GoN, bred it, at least it didn't refuse Here's 2nd gen Hellfire from the pair if someone here wants it: Claim my eggs/hatchlings!
-
Ok, experiment so far: I've bred a few pairs of the new dragons, one has hatched, and...
I think the yellow can only be gotten by breeding.
-
2 breed - 2 golden
-
2 of my bred ones turned out yellow, both mixed breed. I suppose my other ones will also be yellow.
-
According to the DC forum thread, all bred Undines (2G) are yellow so far...
Mimmu: Congrats, very nice combo!
-
Did you get green eggs?
-
The egg for green and yellow Undine is the same.
-
Thanks idril
-
We got... green eggs and ham!
So, it's interesting - all caveborns are green, all bred undines are yellow. That's going to make for some odd - or interesting! - bloodlines, if people can figure out how to use them right. I'm not very good at it, but I'll be interested to see what others come up with.
-
i'm thinking an even-gen lineage; first generation is green, second is yellow, and depending on if there are other variants (fingers still crossed), the rest can be yellow or whatever other colors.
or a stairstep where the outside is green and the inside is yellow. spiral works for that, too.
-
There are some second gen greens starting to hatch now. Looks like yellows might be a random alt version.
-

I think a spiral - where all the breds are yellow and all the outsides are green - will be gorgeous! Of course you'll have people dumping the bred dragons if they turn out green instead, although they'd have to dump hatchlings, not eggs.
@tawanda - Hopefully the yellows aren't a RARE alt. Would be nice if it were 50/50. -
I've bred 3 so far. 2 of them are green.
-
I've breed two so far, and I have one of each color. My best friend has bred three, and has two yellows from it. So I suspect the odds are pretty much 50/50, and you'll get an equal number of yellows as you go along.
Makes for challenges in attempting to do lineages, though!
-
My five 2nd gens all turned yellow, my 3rd gen turned green just as I hoped. http://dragcave.net/lineage/Cr2zn
I'm afraid that result may be difficult to reproduce though. I like the green ones better but I still hope they go alt easier than Vines. -
Oo I made a dragon cave account a LONG time ago.. I don't remember if I have any eggs anywhere.
ok.. checked.. nope. nada.. nothing. guess I can pick up and egg and see what happens.
