Request for the wiki, if it's not too much trouble?

Could there be a "Seasonal" section added that lists plants available only for a month or two during the year?

I know we have the Special plants area, but I think it would be helpful to have the seasonal ones separated from the main section - ones like the Marvel Ferns, Christmas Cactus, Texas Bluebell, Winter Daphne and I'm sure there are others - and have the approximate time they start showing up in the Wild Garden?

I hope this isn't too much work, and that others think it might be helpful too

The wiki is fully community driven. I believe fuzzbucket is currently the main editor. I am sure you guys can work together to build a page dedicated to that. As far showing it in-game. Half of the fun of this game is to explore and find this things out yourself. Having a feature like that would destroy some of the fun of the game.

The problem with start and stop dates is that I remember the admins saying years ago that they had to be released manually, then they lasted however many days they lasted before they were stopped. Christmas trees one year didn't come out until mid-December, then lasted through January because we needed more time to breed two generations. Perhaps it's changed since then, but I don't think there was a set date or amount of days for things to happen in the old method of event plant release.

I can confirm that since a couple of years the seasons are fully automated by the system and should always happen around the same time.

Fuzzbucket will separate seasonals out (But not for a bit, as I'm about to travel) She reckons event specials (as in Hallowe'en, Christmas etc) can stay where they are. They are listed as "Christmas" etc. And - she has the POWER !

Hm. Also - looking at the wiki as it stands, some seem to be seasonal that we didn't know were and may even NOT be.... I mean - I thought Texas Bluebells didn't breed just now - but mine are offering to ! If I do this, I may not be comfortable specifying dates....

Thank you Fuzzbucket! I can try and help determine which are seasonal if wanted.

I believe last year the Texas Bluebells started in late September, so yeah that quite a bit earlier than I recalled. Perhaps something like "The Texas Bluebell has been seen in the garden starting as early as late August" or along those lines. Or even a bit more vague, perhaps - "late summer to early fall." I also have one bred as late as January when I was looking. Didn't realize they hung around that long.

Has ANYONE had a Moth Orchid breed ? If not I will move it to Special ! But not till mid-September, as I'm going to be away.

I have not tried, but I can keep watch on them from now on and see if it ever comes up.
