Walpurgis has started, and just a reminder to everyone, the pink and green variants of the mushrooms are only available by breeding.
I've dropped a number of bred seeds into the wild, so if you are new, and don't yet have any mushrooms for breeding, you have a chance at one of those variants if you get a bred seed.

Something odd has happened, I received the Postal Pixie May 1st and they left a seed of the mushroom Walpurgis, but I noticed that it is now gone? Whatever happened here? There is also a ? in the Compendium, meaning there is a new valiant...

Haven't seen any parentless in the wild garden either. But I could still breed.

If you haven't already bred the ones you have, you might try that. You can only get the pink and green variants by breeding.
That said, I wish there were more parentless drops in the garden. It makes it really hard on newcomers when there aren't many drops.

This year the reason seemed to be very short, I could only take broomseeds for a few days from the garden this year and it seemed like the event is over. Who is worried too? I'm not really because I've got everything I want, but perhaps someone cannot even breed? We still can breed and so I did: the garden is full with bred Walpurgis mushrooms from me now. I hope someone has a new home for them! (Otherwise I would feel 'forced' to raise them one by one)
I've been dropping bred seeds as well; I'm sure someone is taking them, because every so often I check the numbers, and they're in various gardens.

Another thing I've noticed is that only the seed from the post pixie grew into the new variant, but none from the wild garden or bred one. At least I haven't read from anyone they got one from the wild or breeding. So is the new variant only breedable next year? Like on DC with their event dragons?
It was the same with the new easter bunny. I only got one from the pixie, but not from breeding or the garden. 
I got one of the new mushroom as bred:

I know, I've been looking parentless every now and then but since I haven't found any I've been breeding them
So it was only bad luck then, that none of my other seeds grew into the new variant...
Could be, I got only one of the new bunnies even tho I bred a lot of them.
