Well, Halloween is long over, so I don´t think there will be one this year...

No new variants of existing plants this year.
Will there be a all new plant instead?

Is for anyone else EatW not working? I only got a blank page.

I´ve seen a lot of such inbred lineages. They can be nice, but I´m no fan of inbreeding...

Hi everyone!
Here's a newbie You might have seen me already on DragCave forum. I'm not native to either English or German, but I'll try to do my best catching up with you.
I love Star Wars and have a few fanfics for that, for Transformers, and some other stories here: https://www.fanfiction.net/~darthkrandeSzia and welcome to the game and forum, Krande. I hope you have fun here.
I read some of your star wars fanfics, btw. I love the Republic Commando series and clones/mandos in general.

No, what you get is totally random.

Another hint, if you don´t care for bred plants, I would advise to only raise parentless seeds from the wild garden. Then you only get the biting dandelion after every 15 raised dandelions from the post pixie. But I hope it won´t take that long to get the 4-headed dandelion.
-
After you have raised 15 dandelions you get the back-biting dandelion seed from the postpixie. Or by breeding. Either way, once in a while you'll get one. If you don´t want it, just gift it. I´m sure there are a lot of people who would like one.

Theory III: Raised a total of 20 potatoes, bred and parentless. Already gifted a few. Didn´t get a potato seed.
(With the dandelions you get a parcel from the post pixi with the special seed after 15 raised dandelions). Expect it is more with the potato...Theory IV: Exchanged a potato with various members. Nothing happend, but maybe it only happens occational.. Also those I randomly gifted away are still the same.
-
Maybe so, Shelybear doesn´t have enough (15) grown potato plants, but agajol had exactly 15 potatoe plants in her greenhouse after she took shelybears gift....
I need 4 more potatoes to get to 15.... *get´s more tubers*

I like that idea. And the normal one would be the white flowered one right?
I guess the normal ones would be all the flowered ones, as they can be obtained in the wild garden.
So... maybe the secret variant can only be obtained by gifting. How unusual!
Well, it´s just an idea.
QuoteIn which case, getting different variants by trading may not work, if you always end up with the secret variant. We'll have to see!
I just swaped plants with Kintara and mine stayed normal so far. It's possible, it doesn't happen all the time... -
Can we try this? We gift normal potatoe plants to somebody else and then gift it back and we'll see what's happening.
-
So, to get back on topic again.
How did Shelybear get this variant?
A question to Shelybear: Was this a normal plant before you gifted it or grew it up like this? Because I remeber it being normal when you first posted it in your recipe thread, but I can be wrong. -

Nice artwork.
New garden areas are definitely coming sometime, but remember Nephele does stuff for the site in her free time and doesn´t get paid doing it. It might take a while, be patient.

There is not always an exact date when an event starts.
But you can make a note for Christmas, New Year, Valentine's Day, Easter, Walpurgis Night, Halloween, St. Patrick's Day. Those are events with a more or less fixed date, calender wise I mean, but can start at and run for an undetermined time, meaning it´s up to Exterminans when events start. Then there is the sites own Summer event, were the Marvel Ferns can be bred.
There will be an announcment when events start, so just sit back and wait what might come.
As for how: they are usually the reward for a game or little quest. For Valentine you have to gift a flower to someone. Those rewards are brought by a post pixie to you.As for why the wiki is not always clear on things: It was started long after the game and some things on how or when etc. are not remembered anymore.

We get the pots during several (holiday) events.

Don't forget Siberian peppers and zucchini, they are also vegetables - and so is sorrel (at least it is eaten as one over here).Ah yes, totally forgot we had those.
Lettuce and cabbage?
For cabbage how about the flowering cabbage? It comes in many colours and looks really nice.
Other veggies: Sweet peppers, rubarb.
