Isn't one of the fundamental rules of the game that everyone is equal and any player can get any plant?
It could get a bit like DC where some people make ridiculous demands when trading rarer variants - which there would be. I wonder how many FG players there are and how many of those use the forums. I suspect not very many at all, in proportion, as it's always the same few players on here.
EDIT: Just read Mia's post and completely agree.

I agree with Froglady. I don't see any need for it and I also just play minigames when water goes down. Isn't the greenhouse, in itself, a kind of 'hatchery'?
Guardian of Nature, 3rd generation (or 2nd, depending how you count it):
Claim my eggs/hatchlings!
I took it thank you Alia.
I didn't realise they could have 'grandchildren'! Wonder what it turns out to be. I can't get mine to breed.
I have some nice prizecore arrowheads, two of which are breed-only species.
A red Dorsal
All grown up and almost ready for breeding, but what are the chances of getting another red one? Can they be bred or do they have to be CB? I have purples.
Scrap that. I looked at the lineage.
actually i don't think that sentence needs to be changed at all; the swamps are the only plural noun in the sentence, so there's no need for any additional clarification.
I agree.
In the other sentence perhaps transpiration could replace guttation. Guttation, here, is more associated with a nasty skin condition.
Arum lilies exude excess water by transpiration. ??
Although I grow them in my pond and I've never seen that.
I am on Twitter, very anonymously. I won't go near Facebook though, anonymously or otherwise. Not so much distrusting of the people that use it, but Facebook itself.
Seems so. I don't see any need for dislikes unless someone is obviously trolling and I've never seen that but I know lots of people have been here longer than me, maybe they have.
If you don't agree either say so or just ignore.
I don't think it's the thread though, unless it's the first post that gets disliked. I'm not sure but I think it's the total number of likes/dislikes of the posts in the thread that count.
It's +1 now. I think I maybe cancelled out some likes before by clicking 'like' more than once.
Anyone know how to get rid of the meanie minus one 'dislike' flag on this thread?
I've liked several posts now including the first one and nothing has changed.
BTW, in German, it's usually "der Kobold" (i.e. male form).
That's probably where it all started. With the translation. German and French (and possibly other languages) have male and female nouns for inanimate/ungendered objects while English doesn't.
I have always thought of pixies as male though, and fairies as female, when in fact they are neither.
This has been mentioned several times in this thread since the first female looking pixie appeared and has never been changed, probably for the reasons Mia gave several posts back, and we've just accepted it. It's not important, it makes no difference to the game.
I don't think they do breed with each other. I think the whole point of them, in a way, is that they have to be summoned. Wouldn't breeding break the limit? I didn't think they'd even be on each other's breeding list. That seems misleading to me.
'They' or 'them' is plural. There is only one pixie at a time.
You can't say 'a xxxxx pixie invites you to follow they' .
Both of you have Adblock installed, right?
And both of you have a filtet set named "Fanboys annoyance list" active? That filter set contains a rule which removes ANY type of like button, even the one on this forum. So it just works as it's supposed to, but maybe not as it's expected.
Yes I do, and I have Fanboy's lists. If I can't find it myself I'll ask him what to remover. Thanks Exterminans.
I don't want to use IE and I tried Chrome and dumped it because I didn't like it.
EDIT: Found and disabled
I'm probably being completely dim here, but I don't see it and I know there is one somewhere.
This is what I have A 'Dislike' but no 'Like'. .. I'd have thought they'd be together.

I have 10 sets and was unsuccessful but I'm sure there are people with many more than that.

I don't see anything wrong with the tillandsia statement Tilliandsia is both singular and plural and in this context is plural, referring to all varieties. The other two sentences are also correct. I'm not saying what you put is wrong, it just doesn't need changing.
That's been like this (and commented on) since the female faeries arrived. Thinking about the JavaScript involved, it would be difficult to code for the gender since the faerie that pops up on the page is completely random. The only way it could be done is an if/else statement that could get pretty complex, and might slow down page loading for many people.
Could make it 'it' because pixies can presumably take whatever form they feel like. Some may object to that though.
I think that's been said before too.
