Maybe just for personal preference, but could number/id of plants also be shown on breeding pages?
like this:
At least it's more convenient than mouse over it to see the id 
Plus could you make the "view" link open in a new tab rather on the same page?
Also, it would be cool if we can know which plant(s) it has been bred with. But I'm not sure if it takes more time to change...
