Yes, I figure that with incubating, we can get seven new ones every 2 days, whether they are bred from our own dragons or caught on the AP. The only problem is that you can get locked by hatchlings, so we'll want to make sure we still have 2 slots available for the new ones when they drop.

So, it's kind of interesting that DragonCave is doing something with flowers again this year.

The point of it doesn't seem very clear to me yet. I mean, if we give away the flowers, is there a point to trying to get as many seeds as we can? Doesn't seem to me that it would appeal to the greed in all of us.

-
Growing the plants first is nice, but a little awkward. I wonder how long it takes till they are full grown and we can finally gift them...
Oh, and I got all the past Val eggs I needed. 5 of each breed. All are 2nd gen too.

-
I got about 5 of each as well. Most are NOT second gen, but a few are. Wasn't really worried about that - just getting the eggs was hard enough!
-
Yeah, I´m a bit picky when it comes to lineages.
I´m a CB fanatic and if I can´t get CBs, 2nd gens are the closest. Expect for Hollies and prize dragons, those can have longer lineages (no messy though). -
What's a 'biter'?
-
Huh, what do you mean?
Anyone in need of this? Claim my egg!
-
One of the seeds you get (well actually you get more than one of them) is a biter seed. The others are iris, lavender and other familiar plants
-
Ah, yes I just got one of those too. Maybe it´s a carnivorous plant.

I don´t really read the seed descriptions. I get a lot of orchids.
-
idril, i took your egg. thank you!!
and i was actually very excited when i saw the first seed—saw it before the notice went up on the main page!!
the only gripe i have about it is the part where you have to visit the garden to make the plants grow... never heard of a plant who needed to be watched!! plus it makes growing them rather difficult, because i have school and dragon cave is blocked on their servers.
noticed the biter sprout is pink!! how cute!

-
You´re welcome for the egg.

It´s like with the snowballs, where you had to be online to get the full amount of snow. I suppose it to keep the people on the site...
My biter sprout is blue...

Some of my Hyazinths have buds already.

-
My biters are all blue too. So far.
-
yeah, i was thinking that these events were designed around getting tj more ad revenue. but i (and probably a large number of regular users) use adblock so i'm not sure if he gets ad views from us.
-
I sent out some flowers.
Thanks blobber for the biter. It looks quite interesting.
-
Thank you for the orchid, idril
- but what do we do with them?
Do they just sit there at the bottom of the page? -
How long is it taking for yours to flower?
-
I've been collecting seeds for about 8 hours. My first one was fully grown about an hour ago, although it looked fully grown for a while before that, and another one has just grown now. They're not growing in the order that they were planted.
-
Hmm, I think they need about 8-10 hours to grow up. Considered you are online most of the time. I think there are 4 or 5 stages.
blobber, I don´t know. I guess they are collected later, just like those cards we got a few years ago....
-
oh, is taking quite a while then, maybe I'm just impatient
I think they just sitting at the bottom of the page, idk tho'Thank you for the Jack in the pulpit idril
-
You´re welcome.

I just got a ???-seed.
