I was just looking after these cuttings I have (real life) for a plant called the Lipstick Plant, and then got to thinking why not have a pancake flower, blushing rose and a whole group of plants that are kind of related to cosmetics?

What do you mean with pancake flower? And what have pancakes to do with cosmetics?

"Pancake" is the heavy semi-solid greasepaint foundation used by actors in the theater, so called because it comes compressed in a round compact like a pancake. Pancake plant is a succulent plant that I think is a species of Kalanchoe. The leaves are supposed to look like pancakes (the food), but they never have to me.
I know that Lipstick Plant is a Gesneriad related to the Saintpaulia, but more than one species is called such. Some of the species are also called Goldfish Plant. (The buds look like lipsticks, but the flowers when bloomed are more like a Christmas cactus or Fuschia.)

I guess I should have used the species names also, so here they are:

    Pancake Plant, Kalanchoe luciae
    Lipstick Plant, Aeschynanthus species
    Blushing Rose, Rosa
Belladonna - also known as Deadly Nightshade and is poison, was used to dilate the eyes

I always think, we have Belladonna in our gardens. But when I look closely, it comes out to be Lamprocapnos. The seeds look exactly like Belladonna fruits.
