Well it travelled quite a bit, I've put it back in my garden now. Thanks, everyone!

Oh yes, I agree. Take just moles that used to be seen as flaws until people like Marilyn Monroe came along.
I'd even go a bit farther and object to the "just make-up" changes as well. It's much less depreciatory than the more drastic changes, like you said, but the easiest changes are the ones you get pressured into most easily too. I know how stupid it is but sometimes I do feel guilty when I'm not wearing make-up. -
I doubt that all of the people who altered her picture really thought she needed to be changed. If someone sent me a picture with such a request, I'd probably make changes based on what I think she wanted me to do, not based on what I think she should look like. It's an interesting experiment nonetheless.

Is it just me or is it a whole lot harder to get an avatar of change than the other two avatars?
I didn't notice a difference between the Avatars, but maybe it depends on what other breeds you're using.
I've been trying to get an Avatar of Destrucion from Falconiform for weeks, with nothing but failure, but I got Avatars from Magma and Black Marrow without a problem. Maybe the Avatars of Change have "preferences" as well? -
In such cases you'd probably have more luck in this thread because more DC players can see it there and the chances that someone happens to have the other gender is higher.

The one with the lower number always appears on the left side.Thank you!

I have a question about breeding.
When I breed two flowers with different colours together -say, for example, a red and a yellow rose- is there any way to know beforehand which colour will appear on the left and which on the right side in the lineage view of the resulting seed? Or is it random?

That's so funny. We need a Halloween event with zombies, where we'll have to fight them off using our plants...
-
And the snails become super fast by eating this magic mushroom.
-
Well... the pots are close together, and it is a very fast snail...
-
I think maybe it's just one snail. Every day I pick it up and put it down outside of my garden, and the next day the very same snail made the way back. At least that's the story I tell myself.

Thanks, walksinslow! I made it to the treasure, but it says...
Display Spoiler
Just a moment, not so fast, I've made a promise.
So, not sure what to do next...?
You made a promise to someone, about the treasure. Someone who helped you, and deserves a share. Click on them to let them claim it, I think that should do it.

I don't know - I had wondered the same thing last year but never asked.
The male ferns can breed with one another, both during this event and during the rest of the year. I don't think it means that they are really "male", but I don't know what it actually does mean.
According to wikipedia, people used to believe that the plant was the male
version of the lady fern. They are different plants but the names stuck.

So the reason 'male fern' got its name was because they contain only male part? And need a marvel fern to breed with since marvel fern are 'female'? Just curious, can male fern inbreed out of mid-summer?
P.S. Myon and I have been wondering for quite a while why there was not a 'female fern'. :p

At the moment, new players have twice the fun/work (depending how you see it) during events, trying to get old event plants and new ones, and they get a lot of decorations all at once, but only AFTER the date when it would make sense to put them in your garden.
So I was wondering what you'd think about allowing everyone to start obtaining old event plants and decorations a week or so before the actual event? That way the event itself would be just about the new things for everyone, and people could decorate their gardens for the holidays.
I don't know if it would be much more work to do that, the old things already exist so at least that shouldn't put more work on the site owners' shoulders, I hope.

Everything grew up red or blue, I have one more bred seed growing up but I'm not holding my breath. I like the red and blue ones best so I'm not too sad. I can't wait for the new plants though.
