There are three different egg colors - pale blue (with spots, I think), pale green, and yellow with red stripes that's the same as the rabbit seeds.

Maybe you weren't looking or noticing one of the colors? You said you've gone through the lists people have posted. Do you know which of those pages you have NOT found an egg on?

It's not over, I just found my number 14.

bellacyg: Don't worry about necro-ing an old thread. If the thread exists, even if it hasn't been posted on for years, if your question is relevant, go ahead and post there. It will bring the thread up to the top and we'll all see it, and you'll probably get several replies to help you.

It's just better not to confuse things by posting about something unrelated to the thread, I think. I'm sure I could think of a good reason at some point, but I'm still half asleep at the moment.

I'm seeing a BUNCH of eggs in the wild garden. Sometimes you just need to wait for a drop. (And sometimes I think a drop has to be made manually, if they are going too fast.)

Ok, now I went down form 13 eggs found to 9. Guess I have to start all over again.

Well, then THAT isn't going to happen. I've visited the gardens of several people now, so if it showed up on one and I managed to miss it, I guess it's lost forever.

Btw, the one for the pipes game has NEVER shown up for me this time, and I've refreshed over and over. I think the eggs are behaving very oddly.

I don't think this is the case. Just comparing the order I've found mine so far, and the order Rjupa has found them, we found ours in a COMPLETELY different order. In fact, I've even gone through her list clicking each of those pages, and I'm not finding any new eggs. I've found 13 so far, but the last 3 are simply eluding me completely.

Yeah, well, I think the timer is REALLY slow now. It has been over half an hour since I saw my last hidden egg, and I know I haven't found any eggs on several of the places people have listed yet. Either they aren't going to show up at all (even though I don't have the message yet that there are no more left), or there's something else that's weird with it.

All I can do is keep looking, but a half hour timer is a bit ridiculous, if that's what it is.

DC always goes down for about 15 minutes or so, at 12am Pacific, or 3am Eastern, every night. (I'm not sure what that translates to in other parts of the world.) It's up now.

You might be doing it too fast. I'm not sure the timing between eggs, but it seems to be quite long. I can generally get 2-3 eggs on the DC site in the time it takes an egg to show up here, so I think he set the timer a little long, is all.

Fortunately we have a while to look for these (I assume he's not going to shut it off tomorrow evening), so it shouldn't be a problem. I hope.

Probably not. Tonight is Passover, so I'm a bit busy today. Fortunately, we have at least a few days to do this, so I'll have more time tomorrow.

I calmed down later, but I was pretty aggravated at the time. I was going through the eggs when they were at the 4 days + stage, then I would influence one, incubate it, and see what color it was. I already have a few that are grown up, that I know what gender they are and color, obviously, so I'm trying to get mates for each one. Too bad there's no way to influence what alt you'll get from an egg. There are many times with Nebula lineages that I've gotten the right gender but the wrong color, for instance, and that's always a bit disheartening.

Yeah, I thought the "conversations" thing was a bit non-obvious at first. I sent email to people a few times before I figured out that wasn't the way to send a PM! Kind of embarrassing.

We had a different forum before, but the admins moved to this place because it has more options. And it really does, it's just that there are SO MANY options that sometimes they're a bit hidden until you know where to look. Mouse over one of your own posts, for instance, or someone else's, and some options will pop up in the lower right corner that otherwise don't show. And when you're typing a message on a thread or a PM, you can click "source" so you can see and edit the source code if you need to make a change.

There are really a LOT of things this forum can do, and I doubt we take advantage of most of them.

I just got on so I'm WAY behind all of you on finding eggs!

That may be so... but one of the hatchlings that has the egg appearance is one of the new gemstone ones, and that aggravates me, because I don't know what COLOR it is! I've been influencing them, then incubate-hatching them to see the color, then going to the next, so I can try to get matching pairs, but this BLOCKS me! I need to know what color this last one is before I can do it with the next one, but I don't know, so I CAN'T. I am not happy about this AT ALL!

This is an incredibly DUMB April Fool's joke, especially as it's right after the release of an egg with a bunch of color alts. I can't believe it didn't occur to him that people would want to KNOW what colors they are getting! This isn't the first time that TJ has pulled something that's inconsiderate, however, so I should just figure this is par for the course with him.

ETA: Ok, apparently he's changed it so now when you view the "egg", it shows as the correct hatchling image. I'll be able to continue influencing genders now that I know what colors I've gotten. I guess somebody talked some sense into him.

That's what I'm seeing. But when you look at the text, you see "hatchling". It's listed as a hatchling in my dragons list as well.

My best friend has an egg that hatched into an egg-hatchling also. I wonder what's going on at the site, that this seems to be messing up sometimes now?

Do any of you see this hatchling with an egg image? I cleared my cache and hard refreshed my browser, but it still appears as an egg to me. It hatched several hours ago, so this is puzzling to me!

Does anyone else see it as an actual hatchling? Or do you see it as an egg as well?

The actual egg hunt doesn't seem to have started yet. At least, I'm not finding any hidden eggs on the pages.

I took it, because this way - if I manage to successfully breed my own - I could get up to 5th gen as well.
