I know Walpurgis isn't over, because we still have the breed option, but I think we some more seed drops. Maybe a big one? There don't seem to be any in the garden at all right now.

ETA: Strangely, I DID find a Heart of Valentine seed in the garden just now. It was a bred seed, true, but it's strange that no one caught it before now.

You can see I'm going for some long lineages with my witch mushrooms this year. I have these three in my current seeds:

It was a little difficult since I didn't want any inbreeding, and the colors don't always end up what I wanted. But I did the best I could.

Oh, Shely, that's so awesome! That took a lot of work, and a lot of luck to get all those seeds with consecutive numbers. I wouldn't have had the determination to do something that ambitious.

I'm only breeding the Witch Mushrooms this year (more in the wild for the rest of you!), and I created one with this lineage.

I just realized, as I was going through some of my plants today, that the Walpurgis holiday was completely skipped this year. The height of it would have been April 30th, and as I recall, we usually get the witch mushrooms for several weeks afterwards as well. Skipping it means any newcomers will be unable to get any of the witch mushrooms this year.

Every holiday has been skipped since Nephele passed away. I know we aren't going to get any new artwork, and I hate to sound whiny and petty, but are the holidays no longer going to happen at all? If that's the case, it seems to me that the site is getting ready to close up, and that would be very sad.

Ok, so... I was browsing one of the hatchery sites, so I could clear up some of the entries on the dragon encyclopedia. (I finally decided that I could NOT get all of those myself, but would have to view them from other places. A hatchery seemed the easiest place to find lots of dragons to click on.) Anyway, while looking at one of them, I saw a really INTERESTING looking egg. I clicked on it, and got this.

As soon as your seeds sprout, you will get open pots and be able to get more seeds. Theoretically, you could have an unlimited number of sprouts, but only four seeds. In actuality, your sprouts will grow at the same rate as the seeds, unless you deliberately never water them.

(There was, as I recall, someone some years back who was experimenting with how many sprouts he/she could have at once before they would grow on their own, so the person never watered their sprouts. It got to be quite a large number, as I recall. I don't know if that person even plays anymore, but it was rather amusing to go to his/her garden and see all those sprouts!)

The one exception to the limit of four seeds is if you get a seed through the post pixie. If you already have four seeds, the post pixie seed will give you a fifth pot temporarily.

Came across this abandoned garden today.

What biome are they in, and what is the description?? I'm not seeing them, but I don't know what to look for.

Edit: You know, it COULD be a joke, since he hasn't done cave floods with these like he does for new eggs normally. We might just get a badge if we've managed to get one or more of them.

Some people have been saying on the forum that the image is broken or that they have no description, but I haven't encountered that. I do hope this egg is real, but he needs to flood the biomes with it if it is.

Edit 2: This statement by TJ makes me seriously suspect that it's a joke: "April’s release brings you a new breed that you can’t even breed or release like other dragons. We think you’ll really love it." Can't be bred or released, yet we can BSA the gender? That doesn't make a lot of sense.

They may be too sad over Nephele's death, and that's understandable. It seems it was rather sudden, so a bit of a shock as well. It's always hard for a while to get motivated when you lose a friend. Hopefully things will normalize in a while. It would be sad if we never got any holiday events again.

The Easter egg hunt on DC has started.

I am also seeing the newly released eggs a bit more frequently in the biomes; both variants, and I even caught a few more of each. So either both are going to be common (I hope!), or he's making them common at least for a while.

This is my favorite web-based game, and I would be very sad if it ended. I wish I could offer my services, but I have absolutely no artistic talent whatsoever. I hope you can get someone, and if not, at least I hope that the website stays up, even if we get no new flowers.

I'm not seeing any of the seeds in the garden yet. I suspect that Exterminans has forgotten, as he seemed to with Valentine's Day. I really hope the holidays don't fall by the wayside now.

Yes, they still seem to be breedable, but there aren't any wild ones in the garden. I think Exterminans might have just forgotten. I guess being able to breed them is better than not being able to get them at all, but it sucks a bit for those who are relatively new.

I hadn't put the last few posts of seeds into the first post, but I don't see that the numbers would change all that much. The first two variants are definitely the most common, and the last two only showed up that one time. Very strange; I think a "one parentless per garden" rule may very well be the case for those two variants. We would need much more data on this, however, and I'm not entirely sure how we can get it.

I'm really thinking it was a glitch that Jedi got those two parentless. Not one other has been either of those two variants. Also, I'm not seeing any more in the wild, so I think Exterminans ended it either early or at its usual time, even though he started it late.

Also, would other people be willing to breed theirs and let the seeds drop into the garden? I did that with all of mine a few days ago, so none of mine now have the breed option, and all of the seeds I've dropped have been taken. I would appreciate it, and I'm sure others would too!
