Ah, that's a variant I do not have yet. It is possible it's a bred-only. We may have to do an official experiment to find out. :) I think with this many variants, it may take more plants to make certain, however.

I can understand the pickiness of inbreeding - the prejudice against inbred dragons aside, it would feel too much like taking shortcuts so you don't have to do all the preliminary work.

So, we'd only be able to help you out with the AP lineage, because the original parents wouldn't be from your scroll. I don't think it would be a problem making sure our dragons aren't in your lineage. Probably the best way to do it is to post the lineages of your latest dragon(s) that you're doing at some point (maybe post them, then keep the post updated as you go further out), and then we could check before breeding ours for you.

I don't think it would be a problem for most of us, anyway. I for one never drop eggs into the AP unless it's a holiday egg (ETA: On purpose, at least. I have accidentally dropped eggs when I've bred without realizing I was scroll-locked), so any eggs from any of my CBs, you would be unlikely to have any non-holiday offspring from.

Edit: Annnnnd... I just noticed that you HAD posted your latest dragon. :P I think I'm blind.

Yes, the Nexus does seem to be fairly uncommon. I wouldn't call it a Rare at this point, but it is uncommon. Fortunately, the others are really easy to get, and I love the Candelabra dragons, so I snag those eggs whenever I see one. :)

Looks like they've already stopped dropping the new eggs. That's odd. He starts them late at night, and then stops before the day is half done. That didn't give most people a chance to get them. :(

Edit: I'm wrong, they're still dropping! It's just that he's now mixing in other eggs, but these are dropping a lot still! Everyone should get their chance. :)

I would make one further suggestion.

"It is not clear if it originated in Central Europe, Central Asia, or in the Mediterranean, but it is practically at home everywhere in the temperate zone of the northern hemisphere. Wild chive thrives on poriferous, eutrophic and humid soil and flowers from May to August. It propagates through bulbs and seeds."

    Either that, or:

Same, about the Hellfires. But I noticed they went fast in the cave for a while, and if you wanted more, it was hard to catch one.

I think I'll wait on trying to get more waverunners, too. It's all I can do to try to get the new cave releases. I had to incu-hatch my current batch, and fortunately I only had to wait about an hour for most of them to hatch. So, I have four of the new ones, and that will keep me satisfied for now. :)

Most of the new releases have been fairly common, fortunately. Sometimes TOO common, at times, making it hard to find the older breeds. :)

Celestials used to be there? I wonder why they took them out? Celestials are one of my current favorite breeds; I think they're beautiful. :)

Yeah, and for the hybrids, I of course don't have many waverunners, since those aren't a breed I care that much for. I'll bet that they're going to be very hard to find for a while, like the hellfires were when the hellhorses were first released. :)

I don't think he's added any of the new dragons to the Encyclopedia, either. I have the feeling that instead of it being dynamic with any changes made, that it's just sort of static. :(

There are some aspects of the Encyclopedia that I think have been poorly chosen. Like, having to observe 200 total hatchling Neglecteds? Really? This is where I'm at in the Neglected entry:
Next unlock Raise 6 more hatchlings, or observe 28 more hatchlings.

Raise 6 MORE hatchlings? I don't even have ONE! When I got to this point, I just stopped trying for this entry. The Neglected is the only entry I haven't completed, because the requirements are outlandish unless you're one of those who knows how to make Neglecteds. (I'm not.)

I do wish he would add some of the newer dragons, like the Celestials, which I think are absolutely beautiful.

Many of us are on both DC and here. :) This game is much more relaxing than DC, because you don't to grab that seed frantically, hoping no one else snags it first. Although that CAN happen, because the garden is random for each person, that's pretty rare. You have to remember to come on once a day to water, but that's about it. :)

Just like all the pretty dragons I love on DC, I love all the pretty flowers here! ^^

Hello, Lysander! Welcome to the forums, and welcome back to the game!

I like your avatar. It's very interesting! :)

You know, we're probably going to forget and just call you by your forum name. That happens all the time. It's really HARD to remember alternate names, especially if you're like me and have memory problems. :)

Jedi, it's the parentless ones she wants, not the bred ones. This is a thread to see which variants are parentless, and which ones aren't. The only way to determine that is to look only at the parentless variants. If certain variants never show up in the parentless, then we know for certain that they are bred-only.

The other experiment, the one with bred seeds, was being done by LadyNova, and it was just to see if there were higher percentages of certain variants than others when breeding various plants.

You probably have a lot more parentless plants than bred ones that you can post here. :)
