I don't know that we've ever figured out how to get a baked potato. You don't get a question mark in your compendium for not having one, and the only person who has ever gotten one, we were passing the potato over and over when it happened.

I have the feeling it might have been a joke by Exterminans at the time, since no one else has ever gotten one, so far as I know.

I just bred 12 (that's all the white clovers I have), and nine of the seeds that dropped into the garden are lucky clovers.

I think it's just random. I don't know how they've weighted the odds, but hopefully it's weighted towards the holiday plant.

Mimmu, if you're looking for bred ones, if you check the last child of each of my white clovers, you'll find those seeds in the garden. Each one has parents but no grandparents.

Is there a bred-only variant of the Lucky Clover? I can't recall right now.

I haven't seen any in the wild. Just for grins and giggles, I spent about a quarter hour this year hunting for them in the garden, and found nada.

I have several; I have one from the post pixie the first year, and then another that I was able to breed from that plant that same year. Last year I was able to breed both of them, so then I had four. This year I was able to breed all four of them.

So far as I know, the only parentless of those that we'll get are the ones from the post pixie, unless at some point they decide to change the mechanism for them.

Just a point: Although we can now find Christmas tree seeds in the wild, we still can't breed trees with trees. There are two variants that are bred-only: The palm tree, and the burning tree. Those will be unobtainable if the trees cannot be bred with each other this year. Breeding with poinsettias only produces Christmas stars, not trees.

I was planning on breeding a bunch and letting them drop into the garden for people who don't have any or many to breed. As it is, I can't do that this year.

I always use a low traffic viewer for the first day or so. Egg Drop Soup doesn't seem to get many viewers, so putting your eggs there for the first day gets them views, but does it safely.

Lately I've only used EATW if I have an egg that REALLY needs views quickly. It seems to get far too much traffic.

The holiday dragon schedule has been announced here.

I'm glad they're bringing the holiday biome in for Christmas, because I'm not going to be able to grab this year's (and will only be able to get a single round of eggs at all), because I'll be on a ship without internet access during almost the entire event. :(

At least I'll be able to get THIS year's eggs NEXT year, through the biome. That's one reason I'm glad they're doing the biome. :)

Yeah, I saw the same thing and forgot to mention it. There are two variants of the Christmas tree that can only be obtained through breeding; the flaming tree, and the palm tree.

Also, I haven't noticed any Christmas tree seeds in the garden. Maybe I just haven't come across them, but I've seen both wreath and Christmas Star seeds in the garden, and no Christmas tree seeds.

Just wondering - when is the breeding season for the various Christmas holiday flowers going to start? I know the Halloween drops didn't start until late, so I'm grateful, as I'm sure others are, that you extended the time for their drops and breeding as long as you did.

There are, however, not only a large number of plant types associated with the coming holidays, but many variants of each. Some of those variants can only be obtained through breeding, which means that an extended drop/breeding time would be helpful to newer players.

December is my favorite month of the year, and the holidays are part of it. I love all the variants of the flowers for this holiday. :)

And I'm just wondering... will there be any new variants? I'm always excited when there is. :D

I'm not really sure that I care for this dragon. It doesn't look like a DRAGON to me; at least, I can't see any sign of it. In fact, it doesn't look like a living being at all.

Well, can't like them all, I suppose. I've liked almost all of the non-holiday releases, and the Halloween dragons don't tend to appeal to me very often. I guess it's because I tend to prefer pretty, over scary or creepy. :)

Oh, so some (or most) flowers and plants might be limited by season? That will be interesting. The wiki will need some serious updating in that case.

Will you let us know what plants go with each season, once you have it set up? Otherwise I think most people will be scratching their heads in confusion

You're only allowed to have four seeds at a time, even if you have a hundred seedlings. (And yes, someone once had several dozen seedlings in her garden that she deliberately didn't allow to grow up... just because.)

When the seeds you have sprout, then you'll be able to get more seeds. :)

Thank you for turning it on! <3

    A couple of questions, though.

    1) I haven't seen any Audrey seeds, and I decided to refresh for quite a while just to see if they're there. Were they simply overlooked?

    2) I noticed that pumpkin seeds are in the garden for the first time all year. In the past, they were NOT an event plant, but could be obtained all year long, and were breedable with Jacks during Halloween. Are you now keeping with the idea that they are permanently only an event plant? This is not how it had been with them in the past.
