Unable to accept a gift plant

I tried to accept a gift plant, but I got a message that I have too many seeds to take care of. The plant I was trying to accept is fully grown, not a seed or seedling. I know that I cannot accept another seed if I have three seeds, but I thought I could accept a full grown plant even if I have three seeds. Is this normal? Is this a glitch?

Yes nonnymouse, it is a glitch. The team is testing new features. Perhaps from that there comes the problem because? Try it a littele later one time again. Perhaps then it will be OK?
