Any way to keep the different stages?

I was just wondering if there was anyway to keep a flower in, say, the second stage - or even in the seed stage? If you don't water it at all will that work, or does it die? I know grown plants don't die, but wasn't sure of immature ones.

They will still grow, allthough very slow.

Ah, OK. I was just wondering. Some sites have it where you can keep it in the different stages of development, but that is certainly fine that this site is different.
