So, it looks like we will be getting a new Halloween event plant. Any ideas what it could be? As we already have Jack-o-Lanterns, it won't be so obvious 
I must say I cannot think of any other plant related to Halloween. But if we all put our heads together, we might come up with some new ideas

Zierkürbis / Kalebasse --- calabash would be a little different.
Eine (schrumpelige!) hohle, innen glühende Kartoffel würde sicherlich gruselig wirken. Sie müsste aber riesig groß sein.

Nightshade seems less attractive, but maybe it's the question of finding a better picture.

A member of the atropa-genus would be interesting (the deadly nightshade is one).
But maybe we should also look at plants which bloom in autumn or are ready for harvest in autumn.
How about a horror-corn-plant like thing? (I have to think about the movie Children of the corn xD)----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ein Mitglied der Gattung Tollkirsche wäre natürlich interessant (der Deadly Nightshade bzw. die Schwarze Tollkirsche ist ja eine Pflanze dieser Gattung).
Wir sollten uns vielleicht auch auf Pflanzen konzentrieren, die im Herbst blühen oder erntereif sind.
Wie wäre es denn mit Horror-Mais? (Ich musste gerade an den Film "Die Kinder des Zorns/Children of the corn" denken xD) -

Chrysanthemum make me remember cemeteries, so it´s a good plant for Halloween. But I prefer Tacca Chantrieri, I had one a few years ago, but died... -

There are Mums all over around here. Everyone has them, it seems. (I don't, but I wish I did!)

Which should mean the Halloween "plant" will probably be something that is not really a plant, as opposed to all the lovely orchids, nightshades and others. / Das sollte bedeuten das die Halloween "Pflanze" wird wahrscheinlich etwas, was nicht wirklich eine Pflanze ist, im Gegensatz zu alle die netten Orchideen, Nachtschatten und andere.

Triss is right, some of the plants you all found, might be added as regular plants (or in "other" ways
), but this years halloween plant won't be any "real" plant. Well, i might give you a little hint, it has something to do with the year 1986.Besides that, there is at least one more suprise appart from this years special halloween plant.
