Well, in Poland for example on Midsummer Night you traditionally have a big bonfire, people dance around it and roast sausages. But I think it's not such a big celebration over here as, for instance, in Finland.

I also have a parentless alt but nothing from breeding so far.

Wow, that was fast. Everything is fixed, at least for me.

That's what I noticed, too, with the dandelion and the pumpkin. They do not use their water and the dandelion, which I got on Saturday morning, should already sprout - and it is still a seed.

I think that the ones you see in the garden now were generated last week but nobody took them. So they will be available in the garden "until stocks last", so to say. No new brooms are generated but the older ones do not disappear until they are taken.

Garlic is going to stay in the garden, so you just need to hurry with the witch mushroom.

Yes - garlic is permanent (each real plant is), while witch mushrooms last a week.

Actually, 9th May is victory day in Russia - for Western European countries it's 8th May. And those two days are also "Time of Remembrance and Reconciliation for Those Who Lost Their Lives during the Second World War."
Eigentlich, ist 9. Mai Tag des Sieges im Russland - in Westeuropa es ist 8. Mai. -
I come from a former communist country, so for me 1 May is mostly International Workers' Day.
Ich stamme aus einem ehemaligen kommunistischen Land, deshalb ist fur mich 1. Mai meistens Arbeitstag. -

At the moment mature plants cannot die from lack of water or sun. And non-mature plants simply stop growing, so when you come back, you will just have to water them and banish clouds from the sun.

Ich kann es versuchen, aber auch fur mich ist es nicht klar.

Having learnt both languages (I'm Polish, so neither English nor German is my native language) I must say that German is much easier than English. It may seem hard at the beginning, when you have all those things that are different from English (like noun gender, different verb forms that depend on the subject) but then it gets a lot easier.
From my point of view as a teacher - why don't you get one of those self-study books (I don't know any English ones but I'm sure there are a lot of them)? A book where you have some grammar (preferably explained in English), some vocabulary, some reading and some listening. They are really helpful.
