I'm not into RPG myself, but my husband regularly plays with a group of friends through Google Hangout (voice+video), using Roll20 for game stats. They wouldn't meet to play otherwise, because one player lives in another part of the country and another has a small child. And it seems to be working quite nicely for them.

Thanks, Exterminans, everything seems to be working just fine now.

Well, I can access my garden, greenhouse, etc - but when I click on any plant, I get an error message: "Error:
An Internal Error Has Occurred." -
@MilkaQ - I read Tanith Lee years ago and I remember I really liked it. The Oriental elements really appealed to me then, and the atmosphere of a fable or fairy-tale, I guess.
@MiaSkywalker - I read Lem, too. Well, it's not very hard if you are Polish, like me. He's our most famous and best known science-fiction writer and some of his works are even discussed at school on Polish literature lessons (We talked about "Star Diaries" in high school). And I also love "Cyberiad" (and "Star Diaries"). Such marvellous sense of humour and of the absurd.

Well, you can always go through google - if you type the username and "flowergame", you will probably get a link to this user's garden.

Yes, it has been trashed, I believe.

Read some of Pern books when I was a teenager. I guess nowadays it would be considered young adult literature. It's a fun read but I don't feel like re-reading it now.
Oh, and I also really like Terry Pratchett. It started out as humoristic fantasy mostly based on puns but evolved into something much more complicated. -
I'm a huge s-f and fantasy fan, but not of any TV series or not even films. I mostly read books, I used to read much more (so I know all the classics), now I lack the time. I admire imagination and worldbuilding - and the story, a lot of s-f and fantasy writers are simply great storytellers.
ATM I'm refreshing one of my favourite books from teenage years, Karl E. Wagner's "Kane" series, and I'm having a great time. -
idril is right, I also haven't noticed those new plants, especially the link in Tru's post.
If I want to link new plants, I copy links from old posts (you can do it, if you click "source") and then substitute the numbers. It isn't that much more work now. -

I'm not sure what's going on, but I've noticed a very strange error. Here is a pansy sprout: http://flowergame.net/view/84032, but when I clicked on it, the picture shows the seed of St. Patty's Treasure. It's the same in the Compendium - instead of pansy sprout I see the seed of St. Patty's Treasure, while the seed of St. Patty's Treasure seems to be missing. Getting ready for St. Patty's event?

Alia of the Knife, from Dune. I always liked her character.

So here are two other opals for you, 3gen, nice lineages: Claim my eggs/hatchlings!
-
My don't have them, either. Maybe it's a question of your browser? I'm using the latest version of FF (although I have no problems on Chrome, either).
-
Yeah, I agree with you, that event was just too extensive for me.

It looks more likely that they have been all picked up. HoVs sprouted, so people are now grabbing tillandisia seeds.
-
Compare these two pink tillandisias:

The second has something brown among the roots. These are ants. And then there is this passage in the description: "Some tillandsia are so-called myrmecophyte that live in symbiosis with ant colonies. They offer the insects living room and sometimes food, while the ants keep predators away from them." -
I like hyacinths, hibiscus and lily-of-the-valley, so I would appreciate these.

Sent a yellow gerbera and may send something more when they grow.
