    Reposting from another thread:

Hm, I seem to have problems watering other people's plants. First tried to water Tru's eggs which I had promised to do, but it didn't work. Then I thought maybe you can only water them (or do a rain dance) if they have less that 4 drops of water (which was not the case). But in the neglected garden I posted in the other thread I couldn't water the plants either, or rather just a single broomstick, and then the option disappeared. What's going on? Does anyone else have that problem?

Edit: Mia confirmed that we can only water plants with less than 4 drops. But what about the neglected garden? Those plants were really dry!

Oh, do you think the Festival of Eggs is pointless? I had a look at some collections and thought the eggs looked really nice. But I have no idea how or where they can be found.

Dragon mass release sounds rather stressful, I don't think I'm cut out for that kind of hunt...

I wonder, is it a bad idea to keep my two first flower seeds I picked up two days ago? Or should I throw them away and get more eggs instead because they are only there for a limited time? ?(

No need to throw out your other seeds. The eggs will be available for another 10 days, so just go and grab some more when your snapdragon has sprouted. :)

Thanks, Tru and Shely! As I said, I hadn't expected it yet. Yes, I had several plants grow up at once (3 or 4), do you think that triggered it? But what really counts is the total number of grown plants, even the ones you've given away, I think Exterminans said so somewhere.

Shely, the St Pattys Traesures are also known as leprechauns. Got them in my wintergaden because that was a gift from a leprechaun. ^^
Yeah, sometimes it can be a bit difficult to distinguish between growing and grown plants because they may be located in the same row. But I don't see this as a problem.

Ah, thanks, I need to check out that puppy!
Yeah, I know, it's hard to live up to a favourite, but do give it a try. I think the graphics are very well done, there are lots of "alts" for many plant types, and the creators always think of some nice surprises - like the big EGG HUNT coming up later this week. 8o All April news (including bunnies and magic mushrooms) are there.

Hello and welcome! :) Actually, I've seen you at the cave and wondered how you came by that nick. :)
As a comparative newbie to both games, I'd say they're fairly similar in concept, although DC seems more complex.
Right now, you can even find some (seasonal) eggs here in the Wild Garden, that should make you feel right at home. :D

Woot, just got my forest lake, much sooner than expected, but just in time for those bunnies. :-))
I've got a total of 52 mature plants (of which I raised about 42 myself, got some gifted plants early on).

@Shely: I don't think there is an internal counter keeping track, but if you display all your plants in your greenhouse, they're fairly easy to count (in rows of 8).

Just got another moist egg, they were just lying around in the cave.... Well, next time, I'll know there's no need to rush! But I was confused by some forum posts that claimed the new eggs would only drop for an hour or so. :/

blobber: Those hatchlings look great! Where did you find the images?

    Edit:
@Mia: I had completely overlooked your earlier posting, so sorry! Thanks for the explanation!

Well, congratulations, blobber! Any more clues what kind of dragon this could be? I only saw the new eggs, but couldn't catch anything. To be honest, I found the procedure appalingly degrading, with so many people hunting for something that was deliberately kept in very short supply. Not my cup of tea. :(

Hm, I don't understand. Is this supposed to be a one-time drop (like a couple of eggs on the hour, and that'll be it)? I thought new eggs were released over a longer period of time so that everybody could get some.

idril: Now I know how you manage to catch cave-born Ice Dragons. I had been wondering... ;) He's doing fine, BTW (yes, it's a male), and will grow up later tonight. :)

Well, most users seem to think it's a joke. OTOH, I was astonished to find that dragcave doesn't have a feature like the flowernet compendium, where you can check your progress with different species, breeds and variants. The encyclopedia project sounds a bit like that.
