Yep,here's the results:

Forest: Blue and green striped - A small puddle of condensation has collected under this egg.
Jungle: Gem - This egg is encrusted with colorful gemstones.
Forest AND Jungle: Plate - This massive egg is covered with thick plates. (We thought it looked like leaves....)

Well I'd say it all depends on how lucky you are... I got all my three when I had around 10 trios. And I keep forgetting to use 'summon' so it took me nearly half a year(from Aug 2014 to Jan 2015), but roughly 10 times (or even less) in total. But I feel that TJ did increased the chance.

I'd guess if there's an event this year, the admin will post in the News section (and maybe also send the in-game message) when it actually started. It seems that all events depend on whether admins have enough time preparing or not... (maybe they had schedules before, feel free to correct me o.o)

As for newbiews, fortunately no Just wait for the new seeds. They will be dropped into wild garden when available.

Well I know some generous people keep breeding some nice lineage and dropping them into AP for other users to pick up. Maybe they are one of them. Also, it might be because they just forgot to check the slot limit when breeding.
