I just found my 15th, and got a third prize. The last couple were REALLY difficult to figure out where they might be.

I've gotten 11, and I've searched everywhere that I can think of, but so far I haven't found the 12th. I also haven't written any of the places where I've looked down.

Edit: Just found a 12th in a place I hadn't thought of before. So I guess there are still other places I'm not thinking of.

I think you do have to wait a few minutes between pages. I don't know the exact time, but when I found an egg and immediately went to all the other pages, I didn't find anything. Then I waited a while and I found one.

No, she's deliberately not letting her seedlings grow up. I'm not sure the reason for the experiment, but she posted about it a few months ago.

I hope they aren't going to start releasing a new egg every month. Although the variety is nice, it's too hectic to keep up. Although, I'm not always interested in the new releases, if they aren't that interesting looking.

It would be, yes. Particularly since those of us who have the flowers from previous years tend to be willing to trade with those who who are new and need them, so as long as some of the new seeds are from previous years (even if a smaller proportion) then it would even out.

I think you misunderstood me. I meant that you got some of one of the last drops they did of wild seeds. If there are seeds out there after they shut down an event, those seeds don't vanish - they remain in the wild garden until someone picks them up. You were just one of the lucky ones to get some of those left over seeds.

I'm not seeing any either, and I've refreshed a dozen times. I think the ones Aztekior caught were leftover from after the event turned off. Looks like they either automated it, or happened to turn it off just at the time. Darn.

Maybe that's what the admins feel, but maybe some people just like to collect the flowers because the artwork is so pretty. Maybe for YOU (and even many others) the point of this is that it's a community game, but frankly, that's not so for me. For me the game is primarily about the pretty artwork and flowers; I happen to like the community and that makes it extra nice for me, but it isn't what attracted me to the game initially.

I'm just pointing out that there are probably many Flower Game users that haven't signed up for the forums, and may not even think about checking them regularly. Heck, there are two days a week that I very rarely check the forums, because I'm generallly too busy to even get on my computer at all. (One of those days when I finally get home, I'm so exhausted I usually head straight to bed without even eating dinner! I don't check my flowers or the forums or anything else on that particular day of the week.)

Of course, it's still the responsibility of the players to know what's going on, so my comment was just a comment, not a criticism.

I was just commenting because I think there are many who do not know to check the forums. I didn't begin reading the forums for the first six months or so that I played the game. Generally they post a red link so all players know events are beginning. I was just surprised not to see it this time.

Unless the holiday extends by a day or two, which occasionally happens.

I had forgotten it was going to start today. I'm glad I check the forums, because the red "News" link didn't appear on my garden page.

I didn't even know there was a new egg. Which biome is it being released in? That's probably why the AP has been so full lately.

Those had to be in IOUs, because you can't have that many hatchlings at a time. I don't know if I would want to accept an IOU trade like that.

I do agree - they probably want them for breeding projects, and don't want to raise them themselves.

I've come to the conclusion that I prefer this game to DC, anyway. It's a lot less pressure and stress.
