Yes, I reached 25 in a few hours. My best friend and I rather industriously threw snowballs at each other until we reached 25, then we stopped. I reached 50 in much less time. Since I had so much snow accumulated, I threw icicles until I reached 50. I think it took about half an hour. But I thought I had to, in order to be in the raffle. I didn't know why or when the update had occurred, I just sort of panicked.

Mine is sort of similar to yours, although perhaps a bit "busy". I was trying to get high hit points without getting TOO crammed in (and having some nice statues - I love the dragons), but I think I still got a bit too crammed in. I wish TJ would take someone's suggestion and give us bigger maps to work with.

And I really wish people would stop throwing snowballs now. Surely everyone is max level now, right?

I'm glad you'll have a chance to get some that you were missing. Some of those might be bred, so if you don't want a bred one, be careful about what you take. But remember that the angel is breed only, if that's the one you're missing.

No, being attacked no longer increases level. I'm not sure if it no longer increases it at all, or if it's just that way after level 25.

And, although I panicked a little when I realized the max level was upped, apparently you only need to be level 25 to be in the lottery. TJ added the new levels only because they created more decorations, and he wanted to make people work a little to get the option to use them. Most of them I'm not interested (colorful snow? Really?) but I like the new opulent palace. My fort is rather a fantasy-ish fairy tale castle, and I'm keeping it that way.

blobber - Yes, but I froze caveborns, because I thought we would never be able to get any more. Now I regret it. I'm definitely not freezing either of the eggs from this year, now that I know I'll be able to get more next year.

They upped the level of the snow wars thing. You now have to do random attacks if you want to get higher. Your level will no longer be raised by being attacked now.

The holiday eggs are always pretty nice. I wish there were a way we could keep a compendium there so we'd always have a way to keep the eggs somehow.

But I also wish I hadn't frozen one hatchling each year, now that they've opened it up to more than two of each. There have been several people who have suggested we get a way to unfreeze a hatchling because of this. Maybe that will be the next BSA.

Yes, it wasn't very obvious to me the first time, but once you see the item you think you need, you need to first click on it then on the vendor, to attempt to "buy" it. Then click anything that seems logical (or sometimes something that might even seem to be a bit of a stretch) for what the seller asks for - you might be surprised what works!

There's no guide. Part of the trick is just to keep clicking around. Apparently this is more difficult if you're doing this on a mobile device, so you might try from a regular computer.

If you need help on a specific step, just let us know the step, and people will be happy to give you hints. It doesn't really take very long if you just try clicking everything.

I just hope that one of my remaining wreaths is the new candles one, then. They are beautiful. So far my first wreaths were all the gingerbread houses and another of the original candle wreath.

It seems to be the angel that is breed only. I have an angel, but it's from the first year they were given out.

Does anyone know what all the new wreaths are? Apparently there's more than one. I got three of these [/img] but I still have a question mark in my compendium. Does anyone know the other(s)?

Well, I reached level 25, but I have no idea if I can go higher, because I can no longer get to my Edit Fort screen.

Yes, but when you breed, at least you're forced to abandon all except one. That forces people to be "generous" whether they want to be or not.

Someone attacked me, which leveled me pretty fast. I only saw this an hour ago, so I went from level 1 to level 4. Amazing how one attack on you can level you so quickly. I need to repair, though, and haven't had enough snow to do that yet.

Edit: Oh my god! I managed to catch a holly on the AP! My first holly ever!

I don't think anyone ever wrote a complete walkthrough. If you need hints, you can always start a new thread, and people will be happy to help.

Sometimes if you wait about 5-10 minutes and try again, there will be some new drops. I think they may come in packets.

I see. Animations, huh? Glad I left before that even began. I don't remember all that I had, but as I recall, I had an Aisha and a Jetsam, and one other I don't recall. You could have three, right? That's what I remember, at least. The Aisha was always my favorite (cats are my favorite animals - besides dragons, at least), so of course I had to have an Aisha. I painted her purple, and I had gotten the Jetsam because I wanted to paint him a specific way, but now I don't remember what that was.

I don't know if being bought out actually made the difference; it always seemed to me that they didn't particularly care about their user base one way or another. I finally got tired of them after they had frozen another friend's account (they always said people were doing things we weren't; a player was guilty until proven innocent with them, and I'd had three accounts banned for things I had never done), and I decided I didn't need that crap anymore. Seriously, they banned one account I had, saying that I was using something I had never even heard of before (something that's supposed to refresh your page automatically, I think?) because at the time, Netscape (which was what I had been using at the time) did something weird, and it interacted with their site in a way that made them think I used something like that.

It just wasn't worth it. You'd get emotionally attached to these virtual pets, then they'd freeze your account, and you'd lose it forever. They'd do this to CHILDREN, too. I guess they didn't think it mattered when a child was heartbroken because her virtual pets had been taken away from her.

Nope, this site is so much better. There's nothing to compete for, so everyone can be nice to everyone else, and you don't have admins saying you're "cheating".

Well, here's the problem, if it's seeds. (This happened to me the last holiday that it gave out seeds, because I forgot.) I had an empty pot at the time, and it used up that pot, because I had forgotten to get seeds from the garden FIRST. Since I've had my current seeds for two days, then yes, it would give me an extra slot, BUT once my current 4 sprout, it will use up one of the NEXT four pots. That's why I would wait until I had JUST gotten four seeds to open the package.

That's why I asked. And thank you to blobber and Gilmen for giving me the info that I needed.

Can someone post what the post pixie gives as a spoiler? I'm afraid to take it, because it might be seeds and then it will throw me off. (I'd want to wait until I've filled all my pots freshly, before I get the post pixie's seed.)

Wait. You mean that if you painted your pet they reverted it? That SUCKS! I spent a lot of time on some of my pets, getting paintbrushes to make them look a particular way. Although I haven't been back in ages, just knowing they wouldn't look the way I wanted them to makes me definitely NOT want to go back.
