I probably would have, since I wasn't always paying attention to what they were. :)

Savynn, looks like you also needed one, so I sent you a blue mushroom back! :P

Edit: Idril, I looked and looked to see if I had any that you needed, and just when I despaired, thinking I didn't, I noticed you were missing red roses! (I have two.) So those are cleared up for you at least. :)

Edit 2: Wow, you guys just sent me a bunch! I'm going to have to re-upload the image before I go to bed. :) Thanks, all ofyou!

I didn't notice until I saw Idril's image that there were some tiny flowers I had never noticed before. Looks like I have one of those (not sure what breed they are - almost look like tiny white daffodils?), but I guess on the big image that I cut and pasted from, I thought they were a sprout because they were so small.

Edit 3: Savynn, sent you the peach hibiscus you were missing. :)

Ok, so I've never used Photobucket before, and I don't know if I'm doing this properly, but I uploaded an image that shows what I have and don't have.

I'm not 100% sure about all of them. Some of the variants are SO similar in shade that I wasn't sure if I crossed out the right ones. For instance, the lavender, I *think* I marked the right two. I know I have two variants, it's just really hard to tell the difference in the shading. (I zoomed way in, which is why I think I have it right, but I'm not that great with differentiating colors.) Same with the hibiscus. I think I marked off the right ones, but I'm not 100% positive. But I suppose it doesn't matter all that much anyway. :)

I was surprised at all the variants available - there are several I've never seen! Like, a weed? Seriously. I haven't seen that one at all. It's in the second row of my image, and I'm pretty sure that's what it's supposed to be. :)

The rules are easy - pick up seeds from the garden, water them, remove the snail that pops up every 24 hours, do games to get rid of the clouds over the sun (you want the sun completely cloudless if possible), and that's about it. :) Getting all the clouds completely removed takes a while at first, but once they're gone, it's easy to keep them away.

If you want flowers you don't have, you might haunt the give away thread. People give away flowers all the time, and usually prefer that they go to those who have either 1 or none of the variant. Since you don't have many at all, feel free to take from that thread. And don't feel that you're being "greedy" if you take several - if you don't already have the variants, the people giving them away really don't mind. :)

Keep in mind, however, that the seed limits and the winter garden you only get by the number of plants you personally raise. Once you've raised a certain number, your seed limit increases, and when you raise another certain number (I don't know the numbers for these anymore) you get your winter garden.

Also, there are some flower variants you can only get by breeding two of the same breed together. If you have a lot of flowers of a particular breed in your garden, yet you still have a question mark in your compendium, just ask; it may be that the variant(s) you're missing you can only get by breeding two of yours together. But it's a hit or miss whether you'll actually get the breed-only variant, however; you may get a more common variant instead of the one you want.

Just had a whole bunch grow up. I want to start sending them out to people, so I'll try to find lists of what people need/want. I read on the forum that people don't think we'll be able to keep our gardens, but we will be able to keep the flowers we receive.

Any extras I have that don't fit on someone's wish list I'll just send out randomly. :) I've only seen a few people posting here, so I'm not sure how many people from FG still play DC other than those. So, the people actually posting here are the ones I will be concentrating on. :)

Oh, and Forester, I don't need any more Dragon's Heads. My best friend sent me three. But thanks. :) I had a Dragon's Breath (which I think might be rarer) so I sent it to her because she sent the three Dragon's Heads. :)

Yeah, the slowness of the growing is kind of dumb. I haven't had much chance to check on them, so mine have been growing VERY slowly. I'm trying to give back to those who have sent one to me, but I haven't gotten that many seeds yet.

My best friend says she's gotten 3 of the Dragon Head seeds (she sent one of the grown plants to me), but I haven't gotten any of those seeds yet. Would be nice - I like the picture of them on the background image. At least I have the one she sent me, though. :)

I'm thinking the flowers might be nicer in the garden than in pots, don't you guys agree? Maybe in the end we'll be able to have both. :)

I think last year's bouquet thing was fun too. I haven't had as much time for this year's because of the nightmare project I've got due in my Android Programming class. It's due tomorrow, and I've only gotten 2 of the 4 parts completed. I'm kind of stressed out over it, but I'm taking breaks about once an hour or so and looking to see if I have a new seed. That's really about all I have time to do, unfortunately. :(

I think last year's flowers were prettier, but it's hard to say - these are nice too.

This is one of the first photos I took of my kitties when I first got them last July. They're bigger now - turns out that the torty is a ragamuffin, and now has really long and soft fur. I've never had a cat of that breed before - they're adorable! The little white kitty is very shy but very sweet once you get to know her. The ragamuffin, being a ragamuffin, is gregarious and friendly and wants everyone to cuddle with her. That is, when she doesn't want to play or groom, which she does a lot. I think she spends half her waking time grooming. Her name at the shelter was Diva, and boy, she is one! (I renamed her Princess Cassiopeia, after an Ethiopian Queen who was extremely vain.) The funny thing is, when we give them their dinner, Clawdia (the white one) wolfs hers down and then goes after Cassie's. Cassie stops to groom eight or nine times during dinner, so takes forever to eat. If we don't stop her, Clawdia will get half of Cassie's dinner! I've learned to pick up Clawdia as soon as she's done eating and give her corporal cuddling until Cassie finally finishes eating. We always laugh at Cassie for being so vain, but we know we're never going to be able to change her. :)

And you know, I didn't realize that those cats in your avatar are in a coffee cup. I take it that image is photoshopped?

I won't swear to it, but I *think* that the first HoV seed (the one with the big red heart and fluffy pink clouds) might be breed-only now. Not so sure about the others; the admins haven't said anything specific.

Since this is the first year we've ever gotten HoV seeds in the wild, though, it's really hard to say for certain. We'll probably know more after this particular event is over and everyone is able to compare what we all have that are bred or parentless.

If you do a View Background Image on your garden page, btw, it shows the image that LadyNova linked. I think it's interesting, because on that other site (the blog tawanda linked), that person was asked by one of the spriters not to show the images for the Dragon Head and Miniature Iris. Anyone who wants to can get those images for themselves, so I don't know why the spriter is being so pissy about it.

Fortunately, the event lasts a week (I think). I'm working on programming an app right now that's making me crazy. Never become an Android programmer. I swear, the logic of the language is insane. I'd much rather program in C# or C++. Those languages aren't crazy. This program has a deadline, and at this point, I don't even know if I'm going to make it.

So I haven't had many chances to go to DC to even see if I have a new seed, let alone check on my garden. So sorry about that guys - I haven't sent many flowers, because I haven't had many grow up yet!

Thank you, LadyNova, blobber, and idril! I'll send some along (thank you, Emeraldis, for the list of names!) as soon as some of mine grow up.

Btw, do you get to "keep" the adults that you give away? Or are they gone from your garden completely? And I wonder if we'll be linked to the garden if it's empty after the event is over. I'm just wondering how this works.

Edit: Ha ha! Did you notice they removed the "report" button from the middle of the message to the upper right? Too many people were accidentally clicking it! I almost did, thinking it would allow me to reply to the message, but fortunately I hovered first and saw that it said "report" so I didn't! It was in too easy a place, and it wasn't very obvious what it was.
