You have to wait about 5-10 minutes between eggs, but they're each on specific pages.

    Display Spoiler

For instance, there will be one egg in, say, the compendium, another on the News page (not the News forum thread), another in the wild garden, etc.

You have to find all the pages that they're on.

Well, I'm not thinking of the forums so much as the game. It's pretty cutthroat in DC; you have to really hurry to get eggs that you want, and it's discouraging when you never manage to grab (or sometimes even see) rares. I have yet to see a metallic in the caves. Ever.

But there are no rare seeds here. Other than Event seeds, and those don't count, because they're not rare during the event. (It's just that the admins have to sometimes trigger a drop manually when the seeds go too fast.)

Also, there are very few giveaways on the DC forum. There are a few, but they are the exception rather than the rule, and most people who are giving away have far more takers than they can give to. Most people who have rares want to trade them for other rares; they're not going to give them away to someone who doesn't already have a rare. But here, people give flowers away, and are generous about trades, so other than event flowers (and breed-only colors), it's pretty easy to get every flower here.

There ARE a few rare colors, but they're all breed-only flowers, and all it takes is time, patience, and persistence to get every color.

Hello, Clara! Welcome to Flower Game! I think you'll like it here. It's not as frenzied or frantic as DC, but the artwork is lovely and the flowers are pretty.

Right now is the Easter event; you can find eggs (seeds - they grow into bunnies) in the garden, and a little later - I think the 20th or 21st - we'll go on an egg hunt which will give each of us a surprise. :) It may be a decoration for a garden, or a special seed (another egg), or even a new garden. We won't know until the event has started and someone completes it. :)

Reposting here from previous thread. :)

It's because they're too watered already. When watering someone else's plants, an outsider can only help it get up to 4 drops. Hers are still almost fully watered, so until they get down further, none of us will be able to help.

When they get to 3.5 drops, someone can help. We'll be able to keep them from going down much farther than that.

A few more things I forgot to mention: You are only able to help the gardens of others a certain number of times per day. After that, you can't help the gardens of others by giving water or sunlight. Also, if a seed has more than four drops you can still click on it, because you may have an option to give it more sunlight. (Bend it over is the only thing that works.) But the bend it over option and giving drops of water are tied together, so it's a combination of them that gets maxed out daily.

I don't think this is connected to when you get your own option to remove the snail daily, which helps speed up your own plants.

Edit: Btw, you can delete your other post. Just go to Edit, then go to More Options, and you'll see an option to send it to the trash. We try to keep that thread clean of all except the gardens that need tending. :)

Ok, I see. It's not very obvious, so I had never noticed it before. I'll know it for the future, though.

I think Exterminans is right - this forum has a lot of options, but many are well hidden. This is both good and bad. It's good because we're not overwhelmed by fifteen million options in front of our face confusing us, but it's bad because we don't know where to find things. :)

Hard to say how to strike a balance. I've actually taken a class in interface design, and I still wouldn't be sure how to overcome this. :)

The only reason I'm breeding mine is that I'm not sure if any of the older types might be breed-only. We have always gotten one of the current year's for free, so I have at least one of each type, but I have only one of the version that we got two years ago, and so I'm wondering if that particular bunny is supposed to be breed-only.

I don't know, though, and after this batch I'll probably just get the rest wild.

It doesn't matter. When I go in edit mode, I see the images, but no code to copy to get the links. If I try to copy it anyway, my copying grabs nothing. So, it doesn't really work that well in the new forum. That's why I said it's better to just link the entire garden like some are doing, and not the individual plants the way we used to.

All I can do is delete my old post. Since it no longer shows us the code when we do an edit, I can't move the grown flowers into this thread. Not without a lot of work that I really don't want to spend the time doing.

I think from now on I'll just put a link to the garden as others are doing. It's really a lot easier with the new forum, and the other way is just so much harder with this forum than it was before.

Occasionally they've forgotten though. :) They do have to turn on events manually, or at least they used to, so occasionally an announcement will get lost. It's always best to check for yourself on the dates listed in the news items that they send out in advance. Generally they send those out at least a few days in advance, so we have warning if we want to make sure we have pots open.

I just checked, my bunnies still don't have the breed option, so it hasn't begun yet. I can't wait! :)

To expand on blobber's post: Heart of Valentine's plants (the flower we get for Valentine's Day) can be bred with Bleeding Hearts during the Valentine's Day event. (It usually lasts a week or two.) At Christmas time, you can breed Christmas trees together AND during a specific period, you can breed Christmas trees with poinsettias to get a Christmas Star flower. During one of the summer events (can't remember which one) you can breed Marvel Ferns with male ferns to get Marvel Ferns. The rest of the year you can breed the Marvel Ferns with a male fern, but you will always get a male fern and not a Marvel.

A lot of times we check to see if an event has started by seeing if the breed option has begun on the appropriate plant. I checked about an hour ago and the bunnies don't yet have the breed action, so the Easter event hasn't yet started. (I was just getting impatient and jumping the gun - it's not supposed to start until tomorrow. :))

Oh, and you can only breed a given plant once every 7 days, then that particular plant has to wait a week before breeding again. This becomes important during some of the holiday events, particularly Christmas, because there are two different breed options. :)

I think the problem is that the shelf was pretty full. I wasn't awake at the time, and I *think* it was Clawdia (the white one), but if it was Cassie, she's not exactly... graceful. She's a ragamuffin, and they're known for their clumsiness. When she tries to jump from one location to another, she's as apt to miss it as not. Clawdia never misses; she's very coordinated and graceful. Neither of them is particularly mischievous, but they are both very young, so sometimes they do things without realizing the consequences.

My father seems to think that you can reason with them. They're CATS. You can't reason with a cat. :)
