For anyone looking for bred mushrooms, I just dropped five or six into the wild. I didn't write down the plant numbers, but if you're clever, and look into the mushrooms in my greenhouse for their children, you might get directly to one of them. ![]()

I never thought of a lineage making a poem of the names! How very cool!
-
I've found a few lineages I really like that were AP abandons that I kept.
Here's one that I'm sure the owner abandoned, because it wasn't a lightning.
Here's another interesting one, although I think it was made in error.
And here is a VERY interesting one, although the egg didn't gender correctly. There's another I have that I got from the AP that I thought was absolutely beautiful, that was half done with rosebud dragons, but I can't find it right now.
-
I've always wanted to set up my own lineages that way, but I've always been too impatient to do it.

-
They probably need to do a manual seed drop again.

I think seed drops are automatic, but event seeds go much faster than non-event seeds, which is why they run out sooner.
They'll let us know what we need to do this year. It sounds like it won't be a sacrifice - Hurray!

-
I think it's because we get attached to our flowers here.
Sure, they're virtual, but they're pretty, and we love them. And when IRL you're a brown thumb like me, these are the only kinds of plants I can grow.
I got a bit distressed by the idea of sacrificing one last year. I wouldn't have minded so much giving one away (like we do with a flower on V-day), but killing it so no one could ever have it, that was just sad.

I saw the lineage before it was taken (I didn't take it), and it looked nice. Neither breed is a particular favorite of mine, which is why I didn't take it.
But it was a nice lineage, and I do like looking at nice lineages, even though I'm terrible about making them.

To continue from idril:
... which means no one can ever get that mushroom again.
Edit:
@Dustpupppy: last year it was specifically a witch mushroom that had to be sacrificed. I recall many people were upset about it last year (I think last year might have been the first year they required it), because you had to lose a mushroom in order to gain one, and we didn't see the point of that. Also, if I recall, the one we gained was NOT necessarily the new mushroom. I had to trade with someone in order to get the new style last year, and many of us felt that there were some serious issues with that event. For new players there's still time to get a mushroom to sacrifice, because they've been dropping in the garden for 2 days. You should be able to have a grown mushroom by the end of the month.

tempestsea: The pink and green mushrooms both are obtained only by breeding.
-
I see witch mushroom seeds in the garden! YAY!

I'm dropping some bred seeds into the wild for people. Remember, folks - there are certain colors you can only get from breeding these!
-
If you find a sprout, keep it.
Sprouts used to take up slots (like hatchlings on DC), but that hasn't been true for several years. That said, if you find a sprout in the garden, it's yours. No one can complain about that if they abandoned it.

-
Well, on the 25th the Witch Mushrooms are available, so you'll want to leave slots open for that. Those are only going to be available for 5 or 6 days.
-
@Tru: Did you write down all the places where you did find eggs? It's possible you're not seeing it in one of those places. Some of the eggs are hidden very well. Also, don't forget, some of the places you have to go to TWICE.
-
I hope I have them all here.

I had a hard time, too. Bajka. I can list all the places where I found my 16 in a spoiler, if you'd like.
-
Well, I wouldn't have minded one of them, but I'm egg-locked.
I love really nice lineages, whether they're short or long. I've found dragons with really beautiful lineages on the AP before. -
I think the new decoration is beautiful.
And I'm glad you got it reissued, walkinslow! -
I love that lineage! I love looking at pretty lineages like that.

-
There are 16 eggs, but the last one won't actually give you any additional rewards.
-
Ardath, did you look at the spoiler I posted earlier? I posted the first 15.

The 16th you get by later going back through one of those places again, but only after you've gotten the previous 15, I think.
