I'm definitely not able to grab any of these; every time I click the egg is already taken. I hope this release lasts more than a couple of hours like some of these releases, because I think I'm going to just try in a few hours.

Edit: I wasn't talking about fogging, Shelybear. On one of the forum threads people were talking about hiding specific adult dragons. I have no idea what it meant and how to do it, but they were talking about the adults.

They were also talking about hiding your scroll in different ways. I will admit I wasn't paying that much attention, because I have no interest in doing either.

Walkinslow: I was reading a thread about hiding scrolls, and apparently you can hide specific eggs. I have no idea how; I've never looked into it because I've never been interested in it. LN might try that with her eggs right now, but fogging them is a good idea anyway.

Edit: Actually the thread said you can hide specific DRAGONS. I'm presuming this also applies to eggs and hatchlings, but it's entirely possible that it doesn't.

I've never seen a wall like that before! I decided to help out and take 6 of them and incu-hatch them.

I want to keep my scroll free for any release this weekend (I'm hoping!), but as I don't have any other hatchlings, and these should hatch within an hour or so, I should still be able to get as many eggs as I want. I hope. :)

MilkaQ, I took that egg - thank you! I don't have that variant of Snowangel either (I also have the all-gold wing), so I won't be able to breed it with anything, but I just love that lineage! I love pretty lineages like that, and I've been lately sort of collecting them. :)

That would be fun! But usually they just bring the quests back once a year during the events. Like the valentine's thing with the girl who is waiting for her lover. I think there have been a few quests that have never come back at all. There was a quest one year about Douglas Adams. I don't remember how long ago that was, but it hasn't come back yet.

i'm done. i did a conversation with the raven and the magpie and it still won't let me do anything. i really hate these little seek and find things as i can't even get started. i don't have the time or energy to waste on it. i don't know what the reward is, but it frankly isn't worth the frustration for me.

Well, the items will be offered next year as well (the admins try to make it so people can earn the gifts later if they didn't join when the items were first offered), so if you want to try again next year, you can. :)

I guess I'm used to these little click adventures on this site. They've had several of them over the years, and I find them fun. A little frustrating on occasion, yes, (sometimes it matters the ORDER in which you click things, and sometimes you have to click on a VERY specific spot that isn't obvious), but still enjoyable. I love the stories they come up with for these.

omg I'm so lost. I went back to my green house and found a present from the post pixie, now i can't find it...... sorry I realize this is off topic.

We get two gifts from the Post Pixie; both of them are decorations for our other gardens. (Winter Garden for one of them, Atrium for the other.) You'll have to enter either your atrium or your winter garden, then look at your decorations list to see them.

If you don't have the gardens yet, don't worry; you'll have the decorations, you just won't be able to put them anywhere until you earn your gardens. :)

Few can play a game alone for a very long time.

Oh, I can! :) I'm actually quite anti-social. I see my friends once every couple of months and that's fine with me. (This may sound like we're not very close, but that's actually not true. I've known these friends for almost 40 years, and we're closer than you might think.) I have less of a need for social interaction than most people. I could happily become a hermit and never see anyone except once or twice a year and it wouldn't bother me, whereas one of my best friends is so social that he HAS to be doing something with friends every single day or he goes crazy. Different people have different levels of interaction needs; mine just happens to be at one extreme end.

So no, I can find a game amusing and interesting with no interaction with anyone whatsoever. The majority of my games include no interaction with other people at all (Sims 3, SimCity 4), and even the one that does (EQ2), I am in a guild all by myself and I solo everything and I am QUITE happy with this. (I become disgruntled whenever I come across a quest that FORCES me to group, because I hate grouping.)

As for your last bit, that it wouldn't need to be rare, the fact that it's limited by garden would automatically make it uncommon. For the most part, in this game there aren't many uncommon (I don't want to say rare, because I don't think anything here IS actually rare) variants except a few breed-only variants (like the black rose), and a couple of the older event "plants" (like the reddish rabbit). But the breed-only variants can be gotten by anyone with a little persistence, and even the more uncommon event plants can be gotten by anyone eventually. If you limit a plant by garden, many people will never get one, unless those with a garden who CAN get that variant deliberately get extras in order to gift them. Right now this game is a lot nicer than Dragon Cave because everyone can get everything on their own, but if you want to make it more like DC, then the stress level in this game will go up. I for one wouldn't appreciate that. I like this game BECAUSE it isn't stressful. Please don't turn it into another DC.

Just dropped 25 bred seeds into the wild. 21 have parents, and 4 have grandparents. Didn't write down plant numbers, sorry. :)

I'm glad they kept this going one more day - gave me a chance to breed more seeds for people and to pick up a few more seeds myself!

I think that's it in a nutshell for me; I get more of a feeling of accomplishment when I can do it all myself, and don't have to rely upon others.

That's why VERY few of my plants are from trades; I wanted to find or breed them myself, if at all possible. Then I feel like I've accomplished my goal and done something by myself, which makes me feel very good.

Everyone has different drives, but that's mine, and it's why I avoid games that FORCE me to be social.
