I took it, LN. Thank you. I haven't caught any wrapping wings yet this year.
And that IS a very pretty lineage!

I've had that happen as well. I, too, don't open games in more than one tab. Often enough (maybe one out of every ten games) I will play a quick game, the choices of rewards will show up, I will click one, and will get the immediate message "this link has expired". This is even if I click it immediately.
I haven't really worried about it, because the next game rarely glitches, but it does happen, and it's rather odd.

Holiday dragons - other than hollies - are always a single gender. So no, there's no way to influence them.
-
Oooh! I think that's my favorite!

The mother's lineage is beautiful.

Oh, I always remove snails right away after getting seeds. The trick is to NOT use the cup of water that appears at the top. Water the seed normally with your watering can, then go back to the seed, and there will be a snail.

Well, it can't REALLY be secret, as several people pointed out, because we can look at every plant's history. Ever Secret Santa I've been in, you find out on the last day, when your SS gifts you. But all of them were at places where the SS could give you little surprises along the way. We can't really do that here. A gift exchange could mean that two people are gifting each other, which we're also not doing.
So it's not like we really have much choice. And I think it's just fine the way we're doing it. I'm looking forward to gifting my giftee.

Yep, and that's OK! I have flowers that were gifted to me when I was a newcomer, and I still look at their history and think, "so and so gave that to me", and I remember how that felt. I'm far less likely to give away a flower that someone has gifted to me, than one that I raised for myself. A gift, to me, makes the plant special.
So, I would want the recipient to know who gifted them, because then it might feel special to that person as well.

No, you should see them daily, but only IF your plants are fully watered (or close to it). If your plants aren't watered, you'll only see a watering option at the top instead.

I had to laugh when I saw that Satan gave her gifts, too. That's an awesome typo!
I love the idea of the Christkind, idril, but that sounds very religious, so my family would never do it. Tell you a secret: I'm not Christian. Therefore Christmas is a purely secular holiday for us. I'm figuring that really it's the Yule holiday, so that's why I want to celebrate it.My father gave us a choice when we were little - either presents on Hanukkah, or presents on Christmas. Being the mercenary little tykes that we were, we chose Christmas, because that way we got more presents.

I love the decorations, and the cooking smells, and everything that comes with Christmas, so I'd never give it up now. To us it's about family and being together, even more than Thanksgiving is.

I've noticed a lot of people celebrate the presents and dinner on Christmas eve. My family always celebrated it on Christmas morning.
When I was younger, we didn't have much money (although none of us kids realized it), so my mother would put a small breakfast cereal box and a few fruits in our stocking to help fill it up so it wouldn't be too empty. We loved it - we'd open our stockings before our parents would be up, and then run off and eat breakfast. There were also usually a few little toys in the stocking to keep us amused so we wouldn't wake my parents up early. I have a very smart mother.

Christmas eve we open one package each, and it isn't allowed to be a package labeled "from Santa". After all, Santa wouldn't have arrived yet.
We also don't allow anyone to open what we know is their "big" present that Christmas, like if we know someone is getting an iPad or something similar. I often prefer it to be clothing - then I can wear it on Christmas day.W still fill up the stockings, because it's fun. My sister and I generally go to Walmart and a few other places and buy little things (cosmetics, pretty pencils, things like that), and put those in the stockings on Christmas eve night. All of those are "from Santa" - after all, he fills our stockings!

I agree, since we will all want to be scroll locked with holiday dragons. I know I will be!

I would say that if someone isn't going to be around, they should send their gift link(s) the last day they ARE around. Dust puppy can just send those a day or two earlier if need be.
Or... the SS could give the link to Dust puppy, Dust puppy could take the gift and then re-gift it to the proper giftee with new links. I don't know if that would be the intent, but it's something that could be worked out.
Looks like "not so secret" is winning in the poll, though, so maybe we'll be giving the gifts directly. In which case the point will be moot.

Thank you! Can't wait to see the new variant!

-
When you say "paired" I presume you do NOT mean that, for instance, person A gives to person B, and person B gives back to person A, right? Because then it's more of an exchange than a Secret Santa.

I'd like to sign up.

@Alia - Thank you!
I'm not picky about the mate, other than - nothing too rare (like gold or tinsel or silver or something) that I couldn't mate with as well!
Maybe... hm... Lumina? Purple is my favorite color, so all my favorite dragons are purple (Sunsong, Nebula, Horse, Ridgewing), but those wouldn't look right with either of those two. Luminas would, though, and I probably have close to a hundred CB Luminas.

Thank you! If there's anything I can ever breed for you, I'll be happy to do it!

Oh, you have caveborn snow angels and yulebucks? Is there any way you'd do an egg trade with me during the holidays? All my yulebucks have looooong lineages, and it would be nice to have one with a short one!

-
Oh, no worries, LN! When the holidays hit, I just grab eggs from the AP! If they have a lineage I don't care for, I sometimes drop them back, but usually they have really pretty lineages that I couldn't have made myself!

I just wish they'd come out with a BSA where we could unfreeze hatchlings. I have a few CB holiday hatchlings that I would like to unfreeze!
-
I'm sorry. I tried to breed you a royal crimson from a wrapping wing, and a thunder from a winter magi, but neither bred an egg.

I can't help you with yulebuck or snow angel, because I don't have CBs of either.
These sound like wonderful lineages! (And I would probably ask for a late gen egg at some point!
) Just wish I could help you!
