LN: I may have enough of the pink pyralsprites to create a third gen, in which case I can hopefully breed it a mate. If I do, I'll try to give you an egg from it - if I can get a purple egg!
It will be a while, but I will try to remember. ![]()

Sometimes the question mark for a new holiday plant variant hasn't shown up right away, until the seedlings are close to growing up. I don't know if in the past that's just been that the admins didn't put it there right away, or if there's something about the timing. Like, maybe the first adult has to actually exist, before the question mark appears in anyone's compendium?
I don't know, I just know that sometimes it hasn't shown up right away.
It looks like the seeds (eggs) are in the garden, but I haven't seen any of the egg hunt eggs on the FG site yet. But that might start on Sunday instead. ![]()
Hello, Clara! I think you'll find the forums fun to be on. ![]()
I saw the pyralsprite lineage, and thought it was pretty, then realized I have its sibling! That really is a nice lineage you've made. ![]()
I'm not sure when the bunny seeds (Easter eggs) are supposed to start dropping, or if we're going to have an egg hunt this year, but this is just a reminder to people to keep your pots open for bunny seeds. I'm assuming it will start soon, since Easter is in 4 days. ![]()
Hopefully, however, it will start after our pots at least are cleared from the St. Patrick's Day leprechaun seeds! I want to be able to get bunnies right away!
And don't forget - we've been told that at least one type of bunny is a breed only variant, and I suspect two of them are. And I think it's these two, unless anyone knows otherwise:
The only parentless I have of either of those is the one I got of each from the post pixie. If anyone can verify that they have more than one parentless of either breed, then we can probably eliminate that variant as breed-only. (Unless one was gifted, in which case, that one might also be a post pixie bunny.)
That may be why he stopped it a little bit early. It wasn't bothering me, but I could see how it could affect some people. That probably never occurred to him when he decided to do it. And it WAS kind of cool. It looks like it was done with JavaScript, which has me intrigued about the coding. ![]()
Oh, that's awesome! Not that you misclicked (I did that earlier), but that it turned right away. I've never been able to successfully bite an egg and not have it die.
Hope you end up getting what you want after you're able to release it. ![]()
Oh my gosh, that's awesome! Had to laugh when I saw it, too!
I think you will like this game, Jedi. It's much more relaxed than some of the others, and people here are very helpful. ![]()
LN, I also bred some eggs right before the release, because there was no way to know about it ahead of time. I mean, it's the middle of the month, so how would we have known? That's not dumb, just bad luck.
The problem, of course, is that with three variants of the gem studded ones, we can't really control which variants we get. My only hope is that those eggs, at least, will be common enough that there won't be any trouble getting more, after the furor dies down in a month or two.
Does anyone know which eggs show up in which biome? It says jungle and forest, but I'm just wondering specifics.
Haven't seen any at all yet. Too many people in each biome, so I will wait a few hours.
I took it, LadyNova - I love arrowhead lineages, and I never thought to make a soulpeace out of one!
I will make sure to name it once it grows up. ![]()
I've heard of some people waiting for special dates (birthdays, anniversaries) for doing the summonings, so they can have them be born on those days. The problem with this (even though it's a neat idea) is that the chances are so slight of it happening at all, your best bet is just to keep doing it each time the BSA recharges. I'm not sure how long that is, but I think you can try once a week.
I have all three of mine, but I remember it took FOREVER to get the first one. TJ said he increased the chances; it's still rare, but not nearly as impossible as it was before.
You need at least one of each of the "triad" - ice, magma, and thunder (which are not the same as the electricity dragons). The more you have of those, the greater your chances, according to a thread TJ created some time ago.
Tempestsea, I have you on the list after LN, when I get some eggs from him. ![]()
I took that, LN, as it does have a very pretty lineage.
One of these days I'll do a lineage of my own, but I'm just not all that good at thinking up good ones.
The next tinsel egg I successfully breed from him will be yours, LN. It will be at least a week (or more, if he's stubborn), but I'll let you know once I get one. ![]()
My friend got a gold tinsel as a prize dragon this past Christmas, and she gave the first egg it bred to me. I'm offering the first egg I bred to someone here. I'm doing it as a two-way trade so that I know who gets it, but you can offer anything, even an AP egg. (Although I won't say no to a tinsel/shimmer/metallic fail!) Send me a PM here so I know who the trade is from, and I will give it to the first one who PMs me.
Gone to Tawanda! She also gave me a really nice shimmer hatching and a sunsong/electric checker egg in trade, although she didn't have to! ![]()
And if anyone else would like an egg from this tinsel, please let me know, and I'll try breeding it again. Well, I'll try breeding it again regardless, but I don't mind giving the eggs away to people here. ![]()
I'm finally seeing them now. Maybe they had to do a manual drop? I'm not sure how often seeds are released into the garden during holidays.
