It might also have auto-dropped, because her pots were full. Towards the ends of holidays, sometimes some of us breed all of our holiday plants when we have full pots, to let the seeds drop into the wild. That may be what she had done, although if she bred them a little too late, it wouldn't have been an HoV seed.

EDIT: Also, please don't mind me, but wouldn't using already existing adults, 'water' the result somehow? Because of course there are already lots and lots of a certain version out there - distributed over a considerate amount of time. Isn't it more helpful to do those tests with fresh plants and within a certain timeframe? ^^" But those are just my 5 cents of thought. Hit me with a broomstick if you like. xD
That was what she did with the first plant, but she seemed to be accepting adults this time. I tend to agree - it takes a bit longer, but if I may tender a suggestion, I would suggest that after this run we go back to only using new seeds. -
The seed isn't one of the parents, it's one of the children. Lineages are done upside down in this game - parents on the bottom, children on the top. Notice the lower numbers of the two plants on the bottom, which indicate that they were created earlier than the plant whose lineage is that you're looking at.

Here's one I just picked up:
Since it appears you are also accepting adults we already had that are parentless:

I think so, if not now, then I could get them in one generation of each. (I have fifth gen shimmers but not sixth, which is what would be needed to breed a mate to match this.) Yes, I do believe I could come up with a mate for that one.

I noticed that both ultimate grandparents have custom codes, yet neither is named by their custom code. Strange, since you are allowed to select a custom code when you win a prize dragon.

Yes, which is why if I post one here, I ask for an AP egg in exchange, just so I can make sure it IS someone from FG, and not just a lurker. Anyone can lurk, whether or not they actually register. That sort of thing bothers me.
It's nice for someone to thank someone, if they take an egg of theirs. LN can find out who by looking at children of her own (presuming it was bred from her dragons), but it doesn't seem very polite to just take without saying anything.
That is a NEAT lineage! I've debated breeding two arrowheads (if I get two that are the same gen, and unrelated) just to see what it would look like. I never thought a lineage like that would look that nice. But that one is pretty!

My recommendation - since there ARE bred-only variants - hold onto all of your current bunnies, even your "extras". That way you'll have more to breed for next year. Keep in mind that just because a seed has been bred, it does not guarantee that you'll get one of the bred-only variants.
Since I only want one more of the pink tulip variant, next year I'll probably be dropping a lot of bred seeds into the garden. Many of us do that on these holidays, especially when we have all the bred-only variants that we're interested in. That gives some newbies a chance to get some, even before they have grown any of their own seeds from the wild.

They look like little witch's brooms.

Well, if you think about it, 40 seeds is just 10 rounds (used to be more, when we only had 3 pots), and each set takes 4 days, so it only takes a little over a month. And that's not really all that long at all.

-
Yes, but I had wanted to breed mine once more. I was waiting for my last batch to sprout, and it did... probably just a few hours after the event was turned off.
I'm not angry, just a bit sad about it. I did find one of my previously bred seeds in the garden still, and took it. But that takes it away from someone else who might have needed one of the bred-only variants, which makes me feel a little guilty.

I would LOVE one (since I love arrowheads), but I have to wait a few hours for some of my hatchlings to grow up. And even then I could only take one.
Could I have the gold, please? It comes from both Apollo and Agy! That's a nice lineage!

(sigh) I really wish you guys hadn't said anything last night. You reminded them, so they turned it off. Personally, I like it when they sometimes forget, and we get a few extra weeks of a holiday event.

I had a shimmer who misgendered, and had no idea what to do with her, so I used her just now to create this.
I'm happy with it. Kind of cool to have a shimmer unfail tree, and if I breed them together again, I may actually get a shimmer result. I think that would be very cool.

I had a cat who loved corn, even though it made him sick. I think it was because when I first found him as a tiny five-week-old kitten he was starving, and since I was having a party that night, most of the food in the house was stuff like Cheetos. That wasn't what I fed him (I gave him leftover turkey - not the best thing for a kitten, but the only thing I had in the apartment besides junk food at the time), but he kept sneaking stuff from the chip bowls, and I think it gave him the taste for it. Maybe it reminded him of finally being warm and dry and full, after being cold and wet and hungry for several days.
It's really funny some of the things that I hear that cats will eat. My other cat - the tortie ragamuffin - is really picky about her food. She actually prefers dry food to canned, something that baffles us. She also has never been interested in people food in the least, so we always know which one has been nibbling on the bread.

And then we had a cat when I was a kid who would eat ANYTHING. She was like your cat, I think. At least Clawdia won't eat vegetables, but I don't think Poppy was even that finicky.

-
Haha! We have a feline Hoover at our house; that's what we call our cat vacuum cleaner. She'll eat almost anything that drops on the ground... or that we even accidentally leave on the counter! She knows she is NOT supposed to go up there, but that never stops her, unfortunately.

Since adopting her (she's the white cat in my avatar) we've had to learn that we can't even leave a loaf of bread out, even if it's still in the store bag. She will chew through it and we'll find bite marks and nibbles taken out of the loaf! Although I find it amusing, I don't think my mother enjoys throwing away the slices of bread that have cat tooth marks in them.
But she's the one who keeps leaving the bread out, even though I keep reminding her!Clawdia doesn't touch fruit or vegetables of any type, however, which goes to show that even though dogs are omnivorous, cats aren't.

It isn't a matter of how many you have, but how many you have raised. If you got some as gifts, those won't count towards how many you need to get the garden.
I think it's 50, but I could be wrong. Just remember that they have to be adults, and only adults that you've raised for yourself will count.

I'm pretty sure the towel was from two years ago. It was for the commemoration of either Douglas Adams' death, or his birth. (I can't remember which.) It's an official holiday on the calendar, because he was so popular, particularly with nerds.
Um... I don't remember how we got all the decorations.
I do know that newbies will get each one during their first event of each type, however, presuming they meet any qualifications necessary. For instance, the Christmas Tree can be obtained at Christmas by doing the Christmas Market. (I think? Which I'm not sure we even had this past year.) At least, I think that's how we got it. What normally happens is that if you complete the holiday event, you'll get a packet from the pixie. If you've been around a while, you'll only get whatever new item is being offered, and maybe a seed. If you're new, you'll get ALL of the old items from the post pixie all at once. (You'll have multiple parcels from the Post Pixie.)For instance, this year, I only got two parcels from the post pixie for finding all the hidden eggs, but newbies that found all 16 hidden eggs got four parcels. The two that I got were both repeats; a bunny seed and a plant decoration in one parcel, and the chocolate bunny and snow bunny decorations in the other. So the more years you are here, the more times you'll get repeats of those two parcels, but you won't get repeats of the Easter egg garland or the Easter tree.
I don't remember how we got the two tables and the two chairs.
I remember we got the comfy chair and the first table at one event, and the bench and the second table much later. (Like a year or more later.) I think we got them during the middle of the year - like sometime in the spring or summer - but I can't remember if they were associated with a holiday, or something completely different, such as the Treasure Hunt. -
I wish there were a way to know which ones you've already gotten, without needing to keep track. I never do - I always forget to.
Are you looking for all three kinds? There's a pale green, a light blue, and one that looks like the bunny seeds.
They can be ANYWHERE on the page. I even found one sitting on an ad. They're often in the borders around the page and can be hard to see, but sometimes they're sitting on the white space, or even in the green leafy part outside the hard coded page itself. I think the two I found on game pages were both ON the games, but I could be wrong about that. I don't know if the egg moves around the page when you refresh, but it might not, so refreshing may or may not help.
Because they can be in the borders, move your mouse around the borders of the page images and see if it turns into a hand. It could be an egg that blends in too well so you're just not seeing it. If you're using a mobile to view the site this could be a problem, so I recommend trying it from an actual computer, and not a mobile device, and see if that helps any.
Of course, the event MIGHT have ended. I wonder if Exterminans can tell us if it's still going on? (And when the actual end date is, if it's still going on.)

Not in the wild garden - in a person's abandoned garden. Go to the thread Garden Helpers - Come click! and go to someone's abandoned garden, and click a plant to water or bend a branch back. If you click a seed, you'll probably have the option to water. If you click a grown plant, either you'll have no option, or the option to bend a branch back.
I didn't get any of my eggs doing that, but it is a possibility, if you've already found eggs on the pages you've been to, or you're not seeing eggs on other pages.
ETA: Oops, the unread messages took me to the previous page, so I hadn't seen these replies. Oh well, you were answered more than once.

The last egg doesn't matter. You get the final post pixie with either the 14th or 15th egg, so the final egg is just for bragging rights, I guess.
Jedi, did you get two deliveries by the Post Pixie, or just one? If you got two, then I think you got all the deliveries anyway, so I wouldn't stress in that case. If you only got one, then there's still one more egg to find to get the last parcel.
