Thanks Exterminans! That's really a bit complex (not to say complicated)
Now my questions is: Are we having a new event now? Or is it a permanent feature that is going to stay?
Either way, it's really fun -
-
Now I'm really curious how it all works.
Does anybody know what exactly are the limits for interacting? A while ago one could interact every 12 hours, but this has been changed.
I think now we have a limit per specific plant and a limit per user, but I'd love to know more details! -
lorimmel How many hundred gardens did you have to visit?
Hehehe not that many, Blobber. I think I visited 30 or 40 in total. Some in the morning, but I soon reached the limit and couldn't water / bend branches /etc. any more.
Then I had to go grocery shopping and do some RL chores, and after that I visited a couple of plants again. That did the trick
Anyway, I didn't visit any unreasonably great number of plants It's probably a matter of some "cooldown" between the visits -
I just got the second parcel, guys
If anyone is curious, you can see it in my Wintergarden, on the window sill
I wonder what else is waiting out there Let's keep exploring 8D -
After visiting a few plants (and probably after helping them grow) you get a parcel from the post pixie.
That's how far I managed to get. I'm not sure if there are more parcels if you help more plants. We'll have to find out -
heh.
btw can you tell me specifically, does black roses requite a yellow parent? I have seen people talk about needing "yellow roses" to get the bred only black roses before...
as for this optimisation, nah, I already have that with this, I don't mind breeding it with, for example a yellow rose like the one in your sig (or it's yellow parent) that has a long and pretty pedigree, in fact the pedigree's are similar!Nope. Black roses can be bred from any parents. Like this:

Go to "My Greenhouse" and click the word "follow" in this sentence:
"A little pixie invites you to follow him." -
Only green and pink mushroom are breed only, all other variants (including the new one) can be obtained by either breeding or from the wild garden.
Whoever accidentally got the old oven instead of the new one: You have been given the new one instead now.
Dear mods, could we please get this type of info BEFORE the event, not at the very end? I must say the way it is now is a bit frustrating
And yes, something still could be done: this event could last four more days, so that everybody is given a fair chance to get exactly what they want. It can't harm anyone, and our new players wouldn't be so unhappy to sacrifice a mushroom if they had a chance to raise 3 more. Please take that into consideration?
And on a brigther note: Spring Excursions game was super fun, and the Lake is just awesome! Same for the new Oven. Thank you -
I'm waiting with you, guys! But: safrificing a mushroom would be impossible for people who joined this year. Unless it's not adult but sprout, of course.
So it seems not so likely, at least to me. -
Yay! I'm very curious about the excursions
Can't wait to see what you guys mean -

Okay...I know you need 2 of the same flower to breed...but exactly how does the breeding work? I don't see a breeding option on the game. I would like to try it but can't figure it out. I have seen lots of posts about breeding but none on how it is done.
Stargazer, the only flowers in your garden that could breed at the moment are the male ferns. You can click one of them to see what Blobber has explained.
As for the rest of your plants, you will have to get another flower of the same species to have breeding pairs. At the moment we don't have cross-breeding between different species. -
Yes Savynn, in this way you should have the best chance to get all the versions. But we have 4 old bunny variants and at least one new variant. The event time frame allows us to raise 6 bunnies, so the odds will be quite slim, unless the Post Pixie brings the right seed Good luck to everyone, including me

ZaphodBeeblebox, the wreaths were brought by the Post Pixie after solving the Christmas Market quest in 2011.
In 2012 they were kinda "forgotten" and unavailable, but the Mods assured they will be available again this year (December 2013).
And as much as I like all the randomness with regular plants, I still do think it's not the way to go during events -
I do not observe any religious holidays, so any date is perfectly fine with me Friday, or Sunday, or whatever else
But why the initial "two weeks" were shortened to "one week" and one chance to breed each bunny pair? -
I have two ideas how it could be solved:
Solution 1
During each event, Post Pixie brings one or two seeds to every player. These seeds are ALWAYS the new variant(s). Other seeds (bred or wild) still have even odds to become any variant (new or older one). This should be easy to implement.Solution 2
The seeds (bred or wild) have 50% chance to become the new variant(s). The other 50% is divided between all the variants from previous years (even odds). This would have to be changed every year, as new variants are introduced.I hope it makes sense.

Aww, I feel your pain Kintara. I got one new Leprechaun in the first batch, so I consider myself lucky, but it would be so nice if the odds were more in favor of the new version.

Ah, thank you for the diligent pixie
And what features are you talking about? The feature to speed up the plant's growth?
Am I missing something?
