I saw the eggs and hatchies and loved the shimmery blue and green colors. I just knew it was something to do with winter ice, like maybe a Jack frost, snow queen, or ice palace type of theme. http://th04.deviantart.net/fs50/PRE/i/201…oul-d2bjr24.jpg
But I did not expect mistletoe at all, mistletoe to me is a dull yellow green and waxy white, so the colors seem waaaay off IMO. Still a cute dragon though.

Count me in, tho I'm working crazycrazy hours, so I might be a bit ...distracted and need a poke if I forget. Those last few days of Christmas all seem to run together

Our Christmases sound a lot like Mias. A single gift from mom and dad was opened on Christmas Eve, and it was usually a new pair of flannel pajamas or a cozy robe. We were allowed to grab our stockings when we woke on Christmas morning and there was always a tangerine to snack on (still considered rather exotic then), a new toothbrush and a small toy or two to hold us over until the sun came up. Then we would all run and jump on our parents bed to wake them up so we could open the rest of our presents, followed by my mom making a huge breakfast. I still carry on the tradition of a big holiday breakfast, my kids love it.
My dad was very into Christmas, he loved to make candy and cookies and bake all sorts of pies... and always a home made fruitcake soaked in whiskey for a month, the man would put on a feast! Also when we were little he would always take a sled and leave sleigh tracks and bootprints on the snow for us to find in the morning, to 'prove' that Santa had indeed been there. And of course Santa would also have had some eggnog and a cookie or two from the plate we left out for him before we went to bed. -
Well I think I added around twenty +/- jack-o-lanterns this year, only a handful of bred ones though. I just thought it was strange, but i have my fingers crossed for the four remaining ones since they are all bred seedlings.
-
Has anyone managed a black hat jack-o-lantern this year? I'm merely curious since I've got at least one of every kind to grow this year, except that one. I've four more left to go so still have hope. Just thought it was a bit odd.

Okay, I went back in time and checked TJ's old news posts. Last year we got a late- late release of nhiostifes on Nov 30, the year before was the Black Friday tri -horn release on Nov 23, for the year before that I can't find a post for a November release at all.
-
Wasn't it last year we got the tri horns for Black Friday? (the day after thanksgiving)

^ thx, he seemed to fit well with the other little ghoulies, lol

Mine are all the older types too. I hope everything is okay.

I've had that happen! It would go away until I'd clicked on a bunch of the flowers.
-
So far it's 37 and been there since this AM, and 24 items at the carnival story. I feel like maybe there might be more later? It seems like kind of a small number, plus the fact that the line in the storytellers tent says 'maybe you'll come back later' makes me wonder. Could just be wishful thinking on my part though.

Holiday breeding of old halloweens started, and candy hunt is on!

Mia, that's a zombie. Have you seen the forum site discussion where there is a thread for encyclopedia help? People have posted links to all kinds of hard to find sprites and someone posted a bunch of zombie links, tho I don't know that you can do them during the day.
ps- have a shiny for the first person to claim it

Aha. went back and played more, it looks like maybe it's not what you click but how many? I just clicked on all my ridgewings (and a bunch in a fansite) and it finally showed up, sort of. It says I observed 19 ridgewings, but have raised 0. This is weird.
-
It says everyone starts out with zero, and then each type has to be unlocked by raising or "observing" them. If I'm reading it correctly observing just means clicking on them somewhere, like in a hatchery or on someone's scroll link or something. So far I've got one that's showing up as dark but not quite there. I guess that means we have to find and click on all 5 stages of eggs. That's going to be a pain!

ffa until the am

There is actually a sort of project like this for holiday lines. I don't do it because I'm horrible with threads that have rules and forms that have to be copy pasted. Maybe you could pm someone there for an egg or two?

Mia, no egg, but at least no refusal, whew! I'll try again next week
a low time pb from the volcano if anyone wants it, will go to the DC gifting thread in a few hours

Thank you for the orange gem Mimmu, I have been trying to grab one for the last four days with no luck. I would be happy to breed you something in return, a nice thuwed or tinsel maybe?
Mia, I can try this for you if you like? I don't have a gold female tinsel but maybe the bronze is ok instead? If they breed.
